G6 accurate Nodal Data

G6 accurate nodal data

A number of people asked if the nodal point (point of rotation) on a G6 was the same as I gave in previous data for the G3 and G5.

The straight line of the log graph indicates the accuracy of the data: while the other graph can be used to read intermediate settings.

The graphs and figures show that it is in fact the same lens but set back relative to the fixing screw by 10mm… 7 mm of this is a reduction in the projection of the lens. As I understand the lens and sensor is a fixed component. There must be a further adjustment of 3mm relative to the screw.

Those who don’t yet use a Nodal Ninja can use the Data under Nodal point to camera screw.

I have changed the column nodal point to camera screw , I copied in a load of errors, is revised Graphs are ok..
