1DX Battery Charger Alternative

Taking the dual charger on trips overseas is cumbersome and a pain so I wondering if there is a smaller alternative (single slot) that is safe and proven that will charge either an LP-E4 or a LP-E4N batteries?

Probably best to get a charger compatible with the LP-E4N which is backwards compatible with the LP-E4. Having said that the thread at https://www.canonrumor​s.com/forum/index.php?​topic=20248.0 would seem to indicate, at least in 2014, that a single or even a dual reliable 3rd party charger may not exist. Canon's charger is of course a dual unit because they have to give you something for the $300+ you will part with.

FYI, the "-dual" and "-twin" tells Google to ignore anything with dual or twin as content.
