As a longtime Apple Aperture user, I am now using Lightroom. One of the features is Lens correction.
Those that use this feature are you always applying this feature or is it one of those "Depends" options?
Thanks.

The only reason that I don't is that there is not a profile for my Sigma 20-40 f/2.8 EX, which I use as my standard zoom on my APS-C bodies.

I usually first do the lens correction (distortion + CA correction) in DxO and then transport to LR. My photos:

Not all my lenses have a profile. I always tick the CA box as well. That works for most things if I use the auto straighten button, but I will use manual if auto button doesn't do a good job. Sometimes I'll use vertical or horizontal. Then after that I'll apply CA and lens profiles.
