I'm looking for a small, slightly fashionable, well priced bag to carry my Sony a9 with a tiny lens, maybe one other lens as well. Mainly as a travel bag. I had my eyes set on the Domke F-5XB. Most of the reviews are good, but one review said that in the hot weather the waxy exterior can get on your camera and gear. This worries me because I live in Houston, where it's summer 9 months out of the year.

Anyone have any opinions on the bag?

Here's a link if you want to check the bag out:https://www.bhphotovideo.com …LmQ&is=REG&m=Y&sku=697263 (external link)

The F-5XB is a great bag. It will hold a lot too if you pack it correctly. A very versatile bag. I would not buy the waxed version. I've had a standard canvas version for over 15 years now and it is still holding up. Just get the standard canvas and you won't have to worry about the wax.

I decided against the Domke and went with the Think Tank Urban Approach 10 instead.
