The white semi-swirls are really eye catching. Imparting movement but you still have the still water that is clear.

little floating bits of sea foam on the tidepool under the pier. To the left, there is actually a high spot on the beach, I had to wait for a small wave to come in and soak that so that it was wet...and then hope the sea foam moved the way I wanted it to, or move at all...the foreground exposure was 8 seconds, so you can see it didn't move fast...and I was staying really still so that I didn't create any ripples in the pool too.

The final image after editing of the Sea View Pier...I have a landscape orientation one too...but I like this version more. 3 images used in the blend, a dark frame for the darks to make the mask, an image exposed for the sky, and one for the details and foreground...blended in Lumenzia. I find it to be the easiest to use after trying them all...

Verticals just don't post well on the interwebs...

Have you tried raya pro? just curious. if it's easier and faster then it's better and I'm willing to switch.

I have tried them all...TKActions, RayaPro, JoelT's, Lumenzia...I just like the way Lumenzia makes them, and the results I get are better...I get better results on my architectural work with Lumenzia too. And its not expensive.

I also prefer Lumenzia for masking and Raya Pro for some final edits.

Lumenzia is apparently very good for finishing touches too...small tweaks to certain areas, and I have yet to get into that side of it...

That's true. They're all good panels each with their strengths and weaknesses. TKActions is the most complete and probably the most accurate for masking but it's probably also the most complicated to master. Lumenzia is lightweight, powerful, and intuitive. I like some of the finishing features from Raya Pro like the Orton effect, sharpening with no halo, dodge/burn, color adjustments, etc.

as long as the blending is good, i'm not worried about the final tuning. I even use frequency separation on the final tuning.
