Any tips on using the clone stamp tool? Trying to remove a shadow from my tripod on a shot and it’s been frustrating. When I sample an area, the tones come out darker on the area I’m stamping over.

Try the spot removal tool instead, just run it right up the shadow And the content aware should do its stuff

I lived in Stockton from 1976 to 1980. We had rented houseboats on the delta with friends before moving there so I was familiar with the area and what drew us to move there. The last year I lived there, I lived on my 33 foot, 1945 Stephens Sedan Cruiser which I kept at the Lincoln Village Marina. I was never stationed there, I spent two years at Pearl Harbor, Hi and then a year and a half aboard the aircraft carrier USS Oriskany.

I don't have a photo of my boat but here's one that's very similar.

Oh cool! That's one of the nicer marinas in town to this day. The Delta isn't the same as it was through the 80s and 90s when I was out on the water. I wouldn't eat anything that came out of the water let alone swim in it haha

It's all good. I look to the Exif info to see how I got a shot, so I just have to apply the multiplier when looking at my shots with the RX10.
It's a really cool camera, no doubt about it. I just wish it had the newer battery!

Panoramic shot from the A7iii and Zeiss Batis 18mm. 6 x vertical shots.

Missed my focus a litte here and probably had iso and shutter speed too low. Extreme crop, but I like the moon with the birds.

The landscape version of the my time shooting under Sea View Pier...tripod position never changed, just the rotation of the camera, and the images are very different...and why I try to shoot both in cases like this. The depth rendered by the Zeiss lenses is like nothing else...I love it.

Looks like laowa will be releasing a 10-18mm manual focus zoom.

Depending on the price, I think this might be the UWA lens for me. I’d like to have access to the 10-18mm focal length range, but its so specialized for me that separate primes in this range don’t make a whole lot of sense. I really like the 12-24, but its pretty expensive for me right now. I have a hard time justifying expensive glass that I wont be using on paid gigs these days.

Loxia 21 will always be my go-to wide angle, so this seems to be a nice compliment for those occasions where I want to shoot extremely wide. I’m cool with MF for anything I wont be using to shoot portraits.

Thank you but I tried that technique Learjet this week and it didn’t quite work. He had a color cast in his image so it was easier.

Can we see the image? I'll see if i can help.

RRS finally has the bracket for the gripped a9...took them forever to have stock! You get so used to having an L bracket, that when you don't, you miss it...

I would be interested in it as an architecture photography lens if it performs well for distortion like the Laowa 15mm does. Would be great to use it for vertical panos.

As a Floridian it's crazy to think that it's that cold anywhere...

It's been in the mid 80's on average for at least a month here.
