The landscape version of the my time shooting under Sea View Pier...tripod position never changed, just the rotation of the camera, and the images are very different...and why I try to shoot both in cases like this. The depth rendered by the Zeiss lenses is like nothing else...I love it.

As a Floridian it's crazy to think that it's that cold anywhere...

It's been in the mid 80's on average for at least a month here.

4000 feet up :(
Yeah we were down your way in February...a man could get drunk on your weather.

Another one per request from Shoshone.
The finch from 15 feet. This raptor looking thing was 45-50 feet. After he flew
I walked it off to get an idea of the distance.

I really had to contort an old body to get him in frame....and tried my best to get the
single focus box Small on his face, not quite there though but close.

A man doesn't need weather to get drunk, he needs a wife.

Forsyth Park is a worthy place to shoot IMO. The riverfront/bridge area as well.

You step on one it becomes a belt ;)
I had an alligator every year growing up in Florida, back then it was legal and they were sold on the roadside.
Just respect them/distance/no selfies on their back and you'll be fine.

RRS finally has the bracket for the gripped a9...took them forever to have stock! You get so used to having an L bracket, that when you don't, you miss it...

They add protection too. I'm afraid to look at the price at RRS though.

for the gripped body, $205...it is what it is...I have one for the a7r2...had one on the 5d2, the 7d, the 50D...one bad experience with a cheaper brand, and it put me off...
