Great capture.
At times I think I might revisit the 24-240 FE. Your result will make me think harder :)

Laowa 10-18 details:

Really cool lens. I was impressed by the optical quality of the Laowa 12. I wonder what the cost will be, but I think I might have found my UWA lens

Travis, on the RRS L-bracket, if I had it I'd have to have the plate-

Reminiscent of the Kirk Security Strap.

I seem to end up walking a lot with the cameras and need a should strap.

Even using the Kirk Security Strap I add an Op/Tec Uni-Loop.
One part on the strap boss and one on the camera strap.
Insurance. If the know ever gets loose (mine never has with the Kirk Security Strap) the Uni-loop
is plan-B to prevent a fall.

The l bracket has strap anchor points...I will provide photos when it arrives.

4000 feet up :(
Yeah we were down your way in February...a man could get drunk on your weather.

The 8 months of summer gets old sometimes, but it is nice to be able to get out year round.

Ive been using the RRS a9 L-Bracket/w grip for sevel months now. Its a great piece over all but I wish it fit the side of the camera a bit better. I had the Kirk bracket on my gripped Fuji X-T2 and it fit like a glove, and was definitely a bit easier on the wallet.

what doesn't fit right on the side? I had a Kirk at first for the 5d2, but then it didn't allow me to plug in my remote, the RRS version had a slot hole on the bottom that allowed the bracket to be moved to add more space on that plugin side. My bad expereince was not with Kirk, I don't think...been too long, and I don't remember, but the plate didn't fit at all, couldn't get to the battery, it wasn't cheap, but not RRS pricey, and the MFR didn't want to take it back...

Vinz, this comes from the poitn of view of not RE photography, more from architectural which takes more time...so grain of salt here...the first one, I would have figured out how to open the shades in the top windows. 3 of the 4 are closed, and they create a weird color cast on the walls. That color cast can be fixed, and I would fix it, it looks like the walls are not consistently colored. The window pulls on the bottom need to be warmer, they are a little too cool of a WB for my eye, and it makes them stand out. The second image is much better, better overall balance, and I like the comp better too.

from a family session in Houston...I loved those streets lined with oaks...it was funny to hear the story of the homeowners trying to put out signs that said no photography, private property...but its owned by the city! It was a busy place too...surrounded by multi million dollar homes...

Thank you. Yah I did not notice that shade at the top. I sure should work on consistency especially on one property. I should work at the right time of the day so it's easier on the window pull but I shoot it anyway just to try a worst case scenario. I know it's would be easier to blend when the exposure of the interior and the exterior is not too far out.

thanks. all points noted.

got the love the 85GM's rendition.

My 1 cent on this. Avoid photographing someone straight on to the camera, it is our widest.

Agreed on both...the rendering of that GM is special...stopped down to f2 its so razor sharp.
Yeah, this was almost an outtake...we were actually done, and they were goofing off and I just put the camera up to capture it...was hoping for more candid...but the parents both looked at me instead...still liked the light.
