The rumor has it that the Mavic Pro's going to get the Phantom Pro's 1" sensor.

Wow that would be perfect for my needs.

Thanks guys. I was thinking the Phantom Pro to get the better image sensor but I will check out the Magic Pro and upcoming Pro II.

i have a mavic pro, its awsome, the views u get are incredible, its got a small sensor but i shoot everything in 3 bracket raw dng files and merge them in light room to get the most detail, then i edit using luminar, i like luminar as it has the best micro contrast i have ever seen and it sharpens the dng files right up, when the image is done the jpeg is around 30mb in size with lots of detail, luminar also has some dji presets that work well too, then i finsih off in noiseware, which is the best noise app i have ever seen as well, the mavic flys easy and is beefy enough to feel solid, the mavic air is to small and the camera isnt as good and battery life isnt as good either, i have got some pretty great shots with the mav, when i got it i forgot i had some nice cameras as i was using the mav the most haha, the rumors of the mav pro 2 are just rumors, there is no proof its even in planning stage, i hope they do make one but i am not holding my breath,,,, haha

Quick question; Lightroom cc doesn’t support a7 iii right? For those who have the 3, are you guys using capture 1?

Had to edit these on iPad

light room does support the a7iii, i just updated a week ago, also luminar 2018 supports the a7iii as well, those are what i use to edit, i hope dxo pro optics will support soon, they have a profile for the a9 so i assume the a7iii will be soon, on my original a7 i used dxo and was very happy with the results, lumniar is winning me over now a days though, the micro contrast is like nothing i have ever used before and light room doesnt even have micro contrast,,,,

One of the few sunset shots I captured at South Padre. This was shot handheld with the FE 55. I think I had it in crop mode too.

A close up of one of those windmills silhouetted in front of the sun with an FE 100-400 lens would have been awesome too. ;-)a Great sunset.

I wish I had that lens Gene! I got as close as I could. Even a 70-200 would have been nice. Good thing is I can return in the summer or next year and try to get that shot. Thanks!

I know it's not very glamorous, but the 24-240 is a hell of a travel lens, for non dedicated trips. I know with family and all, often only one lens will do unless you're Carlo :p. Air travel with a bunch of lenses is like picking a fight with my wife

2 Zooms and 2 primes is pushing it

OK, here's my first try at Wagyu ribeye steak. I thought it turned out pretty good. ☺

Grilled on the BBQ, with baked potato and smothered in sauteed mushrooms in a Cream Sherry sauce. Accompanied by some 2014 Petite Sirah by Cupcake vineyards located in the central coastal region of California.
