focus while on the ground? That thing will have massive DOF when stopped down.

it's a manual focus. set it to F8 and infinity.

I agree with Carlo. The blown out windows tends to become like eye magnet to me.

the first 3 were from the Laowa and the last one was from the FE35.

Here's my first really thought out twilights shots. All single raw. Just shot at the right time.

I was using silent shooting on those because.... too high and may wobble in mechanical shutter.

i added a couple of tripod extension. I controlled the camera using playmemories on my wife's mini ipad.

Hey Vinz

I can't imagine that setup is very stable:-D, Looks like you could use a Canon TSE lens.

i wish i can afford the canon 17TSE.

Those are 2.5 to 8 seconds shots though but still sharp so i think it means it's stable.

Thanks. I knew it was manual focus...which is why I wondered how you manually focused while is was up that high. I was thinking maybe you reached high above your head to rotate focus ring while you watched the display on your ipad to see what's in the frame and what's in focus.

I had the samyang version of that lens in a canon mount. Wish I had not sold it. My copy was dead sharp.

R3 owners specifically. Just found something while reading FM. Monitor brightness is default on Manual. You can raise the levels 2 points higher, which can help when shooting LCD in sunny weather, but not a total solution as it can still be hard to see depending how harsh the light is. Instead, click on the "Manual" and there's an option for "Sunny Weather" mode...... it's really bright and totally awesome. I'm sure it'll tax the hell out of the battery, so probably best to leave it in the custom menu. Also helps a ton for portrait orientation viewing as viewing from an angle is much improved due to brightness.

Can a brighter monitor not lead to overexposure (if shooting manual)?

Edit - just realised you are talking about the LCD and not the EVF. Ignore my question
