not sure if over rated is the right word for it, they are pricey, and they do a good job, they are relatively color neutral, the older ones anyway, that said, I have gone to the Formatt Hitech Firecrest line for all of mine, just added the 10 Stop finally.

for the holder and adapter rings. a 100mm square is going to be your best bet for a 15mm lens, the Laowa is 72mm thread, so can be done easily with most square holder systems. Round filters will tend to vignette more, and if stacked will show up in the corners.
