A Tule Bull Elk from my hike through Point Reyes yesterday. We did the 9.2 mile round trip hike to Tomales Point. We saw lots of Elk...it was pretty cool.

So I just sold a 108" canvas print of this Aerial Rainier shot. I know yay me...

On one hand, I am happy. On the other hand, why did they pick the one shot taken through a dirty airliner window with, thankfully, my a7r, during the day? Of the several hundred Rainier shots I have online, aerial and otherwise...

Superb image mike regardless if it’s the through a plane window. Think of it as an experimental filter :-)

They also bought this, fortunately with the a7r2 and not through a window.

Beauty is in the eye of the checkbook holder, which is why I put everything up for sale even if I'm tempted to bin it.

Anyway I know to some of you its gauche to talk about sales, So I've added some lighthearted content...Kitty helping me edit

So majestic. Congratulations on the sell. Do you have to call the IRS now? I think they raise ears on sales like that I'm sure!

This in NO way compares but also out of an airplane window and with my cheapest camera. One of my more popular on Flickr

Well it's not easy not to think of Washington state and the Seattle area with Mike's killer shots.
Just know I've spent a total of 6 weeks in Washington, 4.5 of those weeks on the west side and
NEVER a drop of rain fell on my head.
Here in the temperate rain forest of the Appalachians it is a daily thing. I'm not the only one who has
to cope with the gloom-

Bottom reminds me of Cascades N.P. but that's up in BC, I guess the mountains don't recognize
