To be honest, I'm surprised the original Nik plugins all still work even with Photoshop CC 2018. I'd probably buy this update if additional features have been added or improvements have been made but for now, I'll wait until closer to the end of this month and see what others have to say about it.
That is just it...it doesn't "really" work...if you use brushes, it crashes...I never could get the old version to work with CC2018...so I was still using an older installation of PS...which is annoying since I pay to have the most current...
Update on the install...after nearly 30 minutes...the installer just zoomed to the end and it was done...everything looks pretty much like it did before, slightly different color UI...but it now works with CC2018, and the brush feature works again...

I assumed it would work because I upgraded to CC 2018 without a problem on my version of MacOS but the actual NIK software is only supported on 10.12 or 10.13. To make matters worse I can't upgrade to the newer versions of MacOS because my MacPro isn't compatible with the newer version, catch 22 situation! Might try a hack that will allow igh Sierra to run on older MacPros, what the heck.
