Here is Poof's take on Peggy's Cove and she used the PZ16-50 on the A7Rii. I like it better than anything I got there.

Beautiful shot of Peggy's cove Robert, it's such a pictueque place to shoot. I have some mixed memories of Peggy's cove, my partner never fails to mention the fact that when we visited there back in the late eighties I "shot" a whole roll of Kodachrome only to realize after we had moved on that I had forgoten to load the film in my Canon F1. vmadvmad

Congrats

It's a very fine lens that I used fairly extensively during my Canon days for shifting 3 shot pano work, I didn't use it much with the Sony bodies for some reason I always felt that that particular lens just worked better on the Canon bodies so I eventually sold it to fund my Canon 200 F2. I wish Sony would release a native Tilt-shift, that would be something I would definately pick up.

A native FE mount tilt shift would go straight to the top of my need list...I wonder why they dont have one in any mount lineup...at least not that I have found.

Thanks David. Yes me too. I hope it works out. I really wanted to get a drone but will wait for the DJI announcement later this month. I’m looking forward to using the shift function of the lens for panos.

if they dont come out with a 1" sensor for the pro, I'm going to get the air sometime the end of this year on sale or something.

portability is very high importance with one of these things, I cant be bothered with something big and bulky.

Love these old covered bridges and you have done them justice with your shots. There use to be a fair amount of them here in our area but sadly they have ben slowly disappearing but there are still a fair number of them out in the east coast of Canada, they really call out to a different time.

Thank you.

Sounds like a good plan Charlie.

OMG! Well I'm not laughing. I'm still forgetting cards or charged batteries.
But just double checked for both. We're heading out later tonight for a hike and hopefully a Milky Way.
Downloaded the GPS coordinates of a rock I'd seen years ago on the Appalachian Trail....we'll see if we can find it in the dark.
Honestly I don't have high hopes, but hope not to have a Kodachrome moment.

The Sony RX100 VI offers a 24-200mm lens, 24fps shooting incorporating the a9 focusing system and an articulating LCD screen. On the downside, if shooting at 24fps, it takes a long time for the buffer to clear since the camera only has a UHS-1 card slot.

The articulating screen may mean it will be a feature added to future Sony Alpha cameras, or at least, one can always hope.

I've been working on a project for a few days now, stills photography is heavily involved, however, final output is video. Let me know what you guys think, your feedback is always welcome.

Having been to this spot many times with you and having photographed that bridge a gazillion times, I have to say this is the best thing I’ve seen yet on the Vincent Thomas bridge! Awesome!
I have to ask how many trips and how many spots did this entail? I’m guessing it was shot over multiple days? You must have hung out at that baseball park for hours to get those time lapses

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

nearly 3 hours on a single trip, 6-8 hours to PP (still in learning phase). Could have finished faster, but a firework show was unexpected, so there was a ton of people there and I had to work around them.

I do plan on doing some more motion timelapses, I actually did one in DTLA, but it turned out bad and I scrapped the project. I'll have to do it again to correct some of my mistakes.

would love to do one at every beach, but those may be multi day projects to produce something good.
