I'm done buying camera gear I swear

I do love the teaser as I'm a gear junky.

I think sony has really only failed me with 2 lenses, and either would be a great solution.

1. 35 F2 AF, small form factor

2. Sort of water under the bridge at this point, but the 35 F1.4 AF really should be a small form factor. That would lessen the need for the 35 F2! It should be an inch shorter and 200 grams lighter!

you can say the same about 50mm offerings, but I think it's passable on that front. Thankfully, the tamron 28-75 has been so great for me, that I'm ok with not having that 35mm option. the 35 f2.8 is also my most used lens, so I'm not exactly hurting.

either way, I LOVE seeing new gear, even if from nikon/canon. Sony has been super competitive, and with a brand like nikon coming around, I hope that sony ups the ante. Global shutter, blackout free, 4K 120, where you at ;-)a

Yeah I'm done switching systems. Too expensive, and realistically, Sony does everything I need it to and I don't think Canikon will be doing anything significantly better than Sony.

Competition is a good thing though. I don't think we would have seen the a7III spec'd and priced the way it were without competition from Canikon. Not that Sony was ever the type to hold anything back, but the pressure to innovate is definitely there and we'll continue to see groundbreaking stuff from them.

the 100mm filter holder will, but you will need the adapter I think.

here's what it looks like:

I have the whole kit with many adapters, which should accommodate most lenses. it would replace your lee kit

you would need the adapter ring: https://www.amazon.com …TF8&qid=1532364003&sr=1-2 (external link)

how much you want for it?
my bigger issue is that the system only works with filters with no foam gasket...and I have gaskets on all of mine...

Lee - your FE55 is heading to a new home. I always think I must have priced things too low when they sell in the first hour of the listing being up :)

50$ for the entire set, all adapter rings included. If you want the CV 10 adapter for kicks, $30 additional.

the laser kit includes 100mm holder, 67mm adapter x2, 72mm adapter x2, 77mm, and 82mm adapter.

it was my primary for the 100mm days as I switched from LEE to bombo. No foam gasket is an issue, but no other system can do vignette free 10mm. It's super tight tolerance, the filter needs to be squarely put on , even rotation slightly would cause vignetting on the 10, but 12 shouldnt have that issue.

I would likely need to buy a new 6 stop just for that set...since that would be a good starting point...let me think about it. I don't use that lens a lot, and when I have wanted to do LE, Smooth Reflections makes it work.

I'll warn you that the natural vignetting of the CV lenses will be very strong when filtered.

Then I think I will stick to using it with SR app...it is really easy to correct when doing that. And less crap to carry.

5 x 35.
OK I live in a Milky Way challenge area :(
This my most grandiose attempt yet.
Tracking via Ioptron SkyTracker.
5 images taken, mount moved 15 degrees, 35 times.
Each group of 5 images processed/Smart Object/Median Stack....
resulting in 35 images to stitch via ICA.
Then processed in PScc.
The final file was huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.
Via the a9.
Here is the Flickr version-

Have you tried Sequator yet for your stacking? Have a look, its free and very simple to use
