you can't really enjoy your vacation without taking some pictures :D

all 3 are nice, but the first one stood out best for me.

Thanks Guys. I guess I'm lucky in that I've a girlfriend who loves nature, the coast, forests, mountains and also two kids who don't complain too much either ;-)a

I've a 3 day weekend, next weekend too. Maybe a return trip.....

Anyone use Squarespace to host their site? I’m going to give them a try. I’m about 50% done building the site. Really slick. Still staying with smugmug as my main site to host backups of my images and upload completed images so my clients can download them.

I use squarespace. Really happy with it.

Great to hear that Carlo. So far building the site has been a good experience.

yeah its a really slick interface. I get a lot of compliments on my site, but it was really easy to put together and maintain.

I am glad you are having better luck...I might need to set one up with them that is more a best of portfolio type site...the way I wanted to setup my website, isn't as easy or wasn't really possible on Squarespace, and is why I have kept my smugmug account...unless I knew how to code a new site...and well, I don't!

Yep I would check them out again. They have several photography portfolio type themes to choose from.

they had several a couple years ago..maybe they have updated them...my problem was multi level galleries...I don't want just all landscapes in one folder...I want a main heading, and then lots of sub galleries under that...I couldn't find one before that worked like that.

very nice man, that separation is awesome. How do you like the a73?

thanks. I think it's great. the high ISO looks clean. the body to me seems a bit looking like cheap though, the plastic(i'm not sure about this, maybe i'm bias). on slot 2, when you eject the SD card, it won't pop out already. i need to pinch it out.

The AF is snappy.

I was really far on the second pic(it's a bit cropped) but still the separation is there.

Congrats!

It gives me native AF from 12-24mm and 24-105mm , and native Manual Focus with my 21, 35, 50 & 85 Loxia lenses.

I'm done...I hope. :-D
