I'm still so happy with how the A7rIII moves seamlessly from landscape and architecture shooting on the tripod to blazing fast and accurate wildlife shooting. I'm several months into my transition to Sony, and I'm still very pleased with it's performance as a middle ground between my previous 5Ds and 1DxII.

Here's a few from a hot and bright afternoon hike today.

Is this guy sticking his tongue out at me? (zone AF @ 10fps)

The 100-400 GM is basically a macro lens as far as I'm concerned:

Thans Justin.
No, that shot just at 400mm.
Here's a whole album using the TCs though if you are curious how the lens does with them.
Most using the 2.0 but some with the 1.4

need to spend more time testing .. to see which setting work..
or just go all native:rolleyes:

Went out to do some real shooting for the first time in a long time. Feels good. Really fun shoot. Snuck onto the roof of a building on the outskirts of downtown Houston. For this particular shot, I'm danging off the side of an AC unit like I'm also Spiderman lol.

Really heavy handed in post, but drew inspiration from the upcoming Spiderman for PS4 so purposely video game looking.

Love it! Great job Carlo. You can add a bit of noise to the sky to avoid banding.
