Corfe Castle from the other side looking more Easterly.

The Swanage road out of the village leads from centre frame out to the right. The previous shot I posted looking up to the remains was taken from the grounds of the church next to the road.

I'm really enjoying your photographs on the local structures.

If you ever get a chance to visit Cardiff, I hope you have time to see St. Fagans castle which is now the National Museum of History but was once owned be the Lewis Family. Also don't forget Van Mansion at Glamorgan near Caerphilly Castle that was also owned by the Lewis Family.

Here's a bit of local history on the Van. Edward Lewis would be my 12th great grandfather.

Good looking Gallery Alfredo. I really like the juxtaposition of modern and vintage architecture on the home page.

Thanks Gene!

The Great Canadian VW show has 3 days of events.I just documented day 1 at Mission Raceway. The turn out was diverse as it had Ghia's to the latest water cooled Vdubs having fun in the 1/4 mile.

If certainly gave me the itch to go racing again. However I happily took photo's instead.

Quick edits as I'm heading out once again for a different event today!

Tha eddie. Hope you dont mind that I drew a little inspiration from your style of family photos...which I always thought had a cinematic touch to them

I thought I'd share this.

While going through color slides sent to me by a photographers mate aboard the USS Oriskany when I was, 1966, I noticed a couple of shots that included a small manless helicopter and I wondered what it was. I discovered that it was the Gyrodyne QH-50 DASH (Drone Anti-Submarine Helicopter). In 1965, the Navy converted them to fly reconnaissance missions and were nicknamed "Snoopy".

Here's an excellent video that explains them very well. I had no idea we had a drone aboard back then.

Still running around like made taking photos of the big show. Pancake breakfast ..DONE!!! very big turn out at the VW dealership.

Did a mix of Sony A73 with adapted Canon 16-35 f/2.8mk2 and Fuji.

Here's some Sony stuff and man am I really appreciating the Sony render for my style of automotive events.

Just on the verge or showering/rain. Lucky it held up!
