i'm really thinking of simplifying my 35F1.4 and FE16-35 into one lens, the 1635GM.

So i'll just have the 1635GM and my 85GM.

and i'm done. lol :p

I was thinking similarly.. except not sure if either 24-70 gm or 16 35.. gm

And then done. But for real this time

At the last session i did it was such a hassle and worrying changing lenses with sand all over the place.. amd there werent any shots anyway that wouldnt have been fine at 2.8 or above

A light snack.

A little salami and some Gruyère cheese on a cracker along with a nice glass of merlot.

Now, I have to figure out SEO to drive more traffic to it. I may add a blog down the road.

Cool, maybe the weather will hold up and we can get out and shoot...

Site looks really good, you are collecting quite a nice portfolio.

Edit: What do you think?

I can't imagine being limited to just two lenses...my last senior sessions, I used the 18, 25, 50, 85GM, 135 and the 70-200...

Wow that’s a lot of lens changes. I normally just use 1 or 2 lenses.

Just going for different looks, and different rendering of backgrounds...another reason that an A73 is looking good as a second body to the a9 on my shoots...

Here's the BTS shot of my salami, cheese and cracker shot.

Continuous light LED panel behind a round diffuser held by a "C" stand so no flash was used. The background is an old wood panel made by a buddy of mine and the cutting board is newish.

I've figured the FE100400+2.0TC is macro.
with the 1.4TC close.

At the last session i did it was such a hassle and worrying changing lenses with sand all over the place.. amd there werent any shots anyway that wouldnt have been fine at 2.8 or above

It's funny how things work, primes are gold standard when it comes to portraits, yet I was more comfortable using zooms for a portrait shoot I did a few months back... Prior to that I was shooting with primes for another portrait session.

It sort of depends on location I guess. If I've never been there before, I'm taking zooms. If I know the place well, I can definitely take primes.

Moral of the story............ Probably a good idea to own a set of 2.8 zooms and 1.4 primes. Sorry not helping, however after a bit of gear purging, that's what I've been keeping. Adapting when I need to save money, especially for something I use as infrequent as the 70-200 f2.8, it's just such a monster.

I imagine a 16-35 f2.8 in my eventual future, as well as 50 and 85 f1.4's. While I love the size of the FE 85, I dont use it a whole lot, and if I were to get a 85 f1.4/1.2, I'de probably adapt?

in terms of priority, it's way down the list, mavic pro2 is way up the list :-D

Do you still have the link I posted before? If not, here it is again. This one is more expensive than some others because the color temperature can be dialed in
