Very nice Travis. Stars pointy good, no coma, and a great composition.
That is why I like the B18 so much...when focused right, it is excellent.

Aug 20, 2018 14:39 | #19787 I have a bunch of stuff for sale including the 85 GM. I'm debating which to keep the GM or the Art. Understand I also own the 85 1.8 FE too for travel/wife use. I'm almost debating if it's just too redundant but I'm a huge 85 shooter. The art is just oversized for the camera while the GM is really just about perfect. The Art is simply stunning on IQ but I find while the GM is not as sharp it's rendering, colors and bokeh is just more attractive. I thought about since the 85 1.8 FE is simply that good then swap the 1.4's for the 105 1.4 Art but then it's huge and funky too. I already own one huge and funky lens the 200/2 and nothing matches it. Decisions Decisions. FWIW, my brother seems to be in a similar boat. He's a pure canon shooter though, and longing to get back into the Sony world. He's looking to get rid of the 5D3, 11-24, 24-105, 85L, and 200 f2 L. As a street shooter(or used to be primarily) i thought they could be useful.. but if i recall correctly i still had to press the side of the glasses, i was hoping for some sort of hand held control.. Speaking of street .. I made the mistake of watching a leica Q video 2 days ago. And now ive been watching/searching videos and reviews obsessively.. Comparable to the rx1 r2.. Trying to figure out whar i can sell ![]() Of course If.. and that is a big if.. i did go for it , it would be a secondary camera as it is a fixed l3ns i wanna use it for biking and driving. | SONY A7SIII(2) | A73 | A6000 | Sony A7IV | Sigma105 | FE1635F4 | Tamron 70-180mm F2.8 | Tamron 17-28 Tamron 28-75 | FE50F1.8 | Sony 16035F4PZ | SEL30mm F3.5 Macro | Canon 24mm TSE | Laowa 15mm Shift

I think it will hold me over for a year or two. Delivery will be around the middle of next week.Question: Does anyone have a 4K monitor and if so, do you like it? I have a 27" 2560 x 1440 Dell display that I'm running now and I"m thinking about updating to the new BenQ 27" monitor. I haven't decided whether to get the 2K version like I'm familiar with or the 4K version. There is a big difference in price too of course. navydoc Cream of the Crop More info | Aug 21, 2018 12:07 | #19800 DTBaan wrote in post #18689322 dual monitors! how could you do with out? :P honestly though.. On my bonus monitor that I use for media, I do wish I could have gotten a 4k monitor to view 4k. I decided not to because at that time it was meant for 1080p so I didnt think I need the 4k. Now more 4k medias are available so I will eventually get a 4k to replace the old. but in your case, you already have a 4k tv, I think dual screen will be more useful for your needs. btw I have that same case at work and I think it looks nice one problem I have is if I installed an extra mechanical hard drive on the upper right section where the cd-rom is, it tends to rattle. I would have to stick some sort of object (used cardboard) to tighten up the fit.I did wind up ordering a second monitor like the one I'm already familiar with, a 2K 2560 x 1440 IPS from Dell. Heck, I get neck strain from viewing 2K on a 27" monitor now. If I set two 27" monitors side by side, I'd need a neck brace for sure. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||
