I don't see much value in using local account.

My new computer will have Windows 10 Pro installed. My question is should I set it up using a Microsoft account or a local account? How have you set yours up? Thanks! Win 10 is on my work laptop so I can’t really help you Gene. It’s setup with my work email account Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

I do have an MS account associated with my Win 8.1 laptop but am debating whether I want to do the same when I set up my new Win 10 desktop. I'll probably go ahead and use my existing MS account and password, I know now that I can disable the login screen when Windows opens at least. on my surface I use my google account

I do like nikon but the body seems bigger and that will ruin my experience of having a mirrorless. I still like the size of the original sony a7 versus the new.

navydoc Cream of the Crop More info | Aug 22, 2018 11:51 | #19836 Thanks for everyone's comments so far regarding using a local vs MS account on windows 10. I think I'm just stuck on keeping my information as private as possible but I can see that there are definite advantages to using an MS account. So, when I start my new computer, I'll go ahead and use my existing MS account login info. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

Heck, I get neck strain from viewing 2K on a 27" monitor now. If I set two 27" monitors side by side, I'd need a neck brace for sure. ![]() Thanks for the heads up on the 'rattle' issue. The new computer is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow and I plan on installing the secondary 1.5TB drive from my current computer to the new one. I'll know then which bays are in use and which are available. My drive that will be exported over has all my programs, keys, serial numbers, desk top shortcuts, and a spreadsheet of subscription sites and other locations such as the control panel to my personal website with the usernames/passwords and links. I'm amazed at just how many there are. ![]() I have the same but 24". The good Dell monitor has good natural colors. I used to be all samsung but samsung has color enhancement and saturation so pictures would look good on the screen but when viewed on other brands the colors are not as nice and more dull. but my bonus monitor is a samsung. since its used for media and not photo editing.

Looking at the picture you posted on your desk, I'm wondering how you will set up your dual. I think you need a new desk one with better mouse space. It looks cramp from your shot.I have my mouse set up so that I don't need to move it very far and still cover my screen easily. I don't have any plans on setting up dual monitors. I'll be moving my current computer/monitor into the den as a backup and will give my current backup computer/monitor to my daughter or one of the grandkids. I've already reset it back to factory defaults. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

I was almost tempted to buy an a73 , so 35 on one cam 85 on the other , luckily the a73 is out of stock everywhere i looked ![]() I am tempted to get a 55 1.8 I really think i could do the entire session with just that one of course a 24-70 gm would be nice but.. the 55 would b3 a nice small kit to bring along in general. Loving the 35/85 combo. Not loving the size of it though. I do have an 85 1.4 rokinon for when i want that 1.4 look.. yes not in the same league as the gm.. but
