Naw, it's single xqd, spec is live on their website now. It only takes a single xqd.

Nikon has some real issues other than just dual cards, no eye AF, tracking system looks poorly implemented(along with gimped features), buffer seems shallow, and battery rated at 300 shots or 30 minutes of video? It's Sony Gen 2 level for gen 3 level pricing.

Seems like there is also some auto exposure limitations shooting at bursts speeds, leading me to believe there is a processing bottleneck.

Edit: battery life is 10-15 minutes of video, per Nikon USA!

That's my impression as well. Sony mkii caliber bodies.

The mkii and mkii sony bodies aren't really that much a different on the surface...the a7rii and a7riii have the same exact same sensor and pdaf system, but sony added the front end lsi to improve the processing power of the cams and the difference in terms operation, autofocus...shooting experience in general is huge.

Mirrorless cameras are a lot digital than dslr, so processing power matters.

Nikon is running with a DSLR battery, but the life is very bad, so that would make me believe that the chipset is very poor and old tech. 10-15 minute video spec is really poor, possibly worst I've read.

I still haven’t put a Sd card in slit 2 of my a7riii so that doesn’t really bother me. The specs look great on the Nikon. I wonder what the price is

Edit - SAR stating it’s £500 more expensive than the a7riii. Nikon really going for it here, good on them. Competition will hopefully keep prices of Sony in check

yah surely it isn't a problem for anyone except for wedding shooters like me. we usually do duplicate files(raw) on slot 2 as a backup.

In case you haven't seen it yet, here's a preview of both new Nikon mirrorless cameras by Tony Northrup.

I saw on FB a link (didn't read) that it was around £3,200 body only up to £4,000 with a 24-70/4

for US it's $3499 for the body only and $3999 with the kit lens(24-70mm F4)

Yeah if I was doing anything for money I would 100% be utilising the second slot

As I sit...slot 1 on the a9 is still dead...have another senior session soon and a hotel to shoot, then it goes to Sony Pro for repairs...

Mavic 2 pro and zoom are out, and will ship TODAY! if bought through DJI.

1449 pro and 1249 zoom, a little higher than I thought, but looks good.

you know what else is interesting with the Mavic Pro 2? The camera built into it is a Hasselblad.

Yep. Not sure how great the image quality will be but it should be nice. Plus it is a variable aperture. I’ll probably order after this initial run.

aside from that, it's interesting that DJI is going to offer a gimbal and camera upgrade service in the future, meaning you dont need to buy a new drone when another one is released, you can swap out the camera.

I would love a 1" sensor WITH zoom..... of course that's bound to happen down the line.

nice. what's i was wishing for that's not there is a 4k60p. i hope it can be added through firmware.

I will sell my 35F1.4 for this. I've beginning to get drone shots request from realtors so i hope it will pay for itself.
