2015 Mustang GT Premium, With Performance Pack and 50th Anniversary Pack.

I am at heart, a car guy, and I never keep a car for more than 3 or 4 years...I had an RX-8 that I kept for 9 years from brand new...then I bought the Mini...and while it was fun, it was never really what I wanted...I have had it for 5 years, and I have had the itch for a new ride since last year, and have wrestled with a ton of different ideas...I could not bring myself to buy an SUV, I thought about a 3 Series Wagon, but can't get one with a manual transmission...I have liked the new 6th Gen Mustang since it debuted in 2014 at the AutoShow...saw it at the New York show...and it has always been there in my mind...I figured now was a good time in life to buy something like that...to have that experience...I am sure there will be too many photos coming soon...

Congrats Travis. I'm a little surprised that you didn't get a van to convert like MedicineMan and Eddie have. ;-)a

I was considering the Audi TTS Coupe before I bought my Caddy. I decided against that not only because of the initial price but the cost of maintenance. $$$

I decided to buy Office Home and Business 2016 so as not to fall into the subscription trap. I also assumed that it would just allow me to download it and run it on my new computer...period. Alas, I had to make the purchase through my MS account and not only that, my new computer desktop has now changed to appear like it does on my Surface Pro Windows 8.1 computer. :-(

Looks like MS wants me to do things their way or no way. Looks like I'm synced.

Everytime, they twist my arm into doing something else.. but then it just becomes normal.

I would have happily stayed with windows xp if they would have let me

Sounds great!! I bought the Focus last year, 2010, petrol, 5 door (kids! Well, teenagers.... ) 37.4 average mpg at this moment, belonged to my best mates late father, low miles, full history, 2 owners.... Not a bad buy really for what it's for. Now, I'm hankering after a camper or sort of wishing I went for an estate.....

The Escort I have had for 22 years..!

ever try using google drive/documents? free alternative that works fairly well. For a while, my work was using it, now switched to M$. I still use it for personal because saving to the cloud is convenient.

I've used OpenOffice in the past but keep coming back to Office. I have several spreadsheets I've worked with for several years and a plugin that creates a book in Word format from my Family Tree data semi-automatically. I've just become too familiar and comfortable using Office to switch to anything else at this point.

I had bought one before brand new but got damaged in shipping so I sent it back. Finally landed a used copy for 2060. Fair price. Not sure if I need the 2x yet or not but bought it primarily for my kids dance recitals for more reach and video capabilities and my sons baseball again same reason. The 70-200 wasn't long enough. I have the 200/2 I can adapt and shot baseball with, it doesn't track sure but I managed with it. I just need a good tracking capable lens and the IQ on the 100-400 is stellar. Slowest lens I'll own but really want a long lens, travel capable option.

windows does everything online as well, very similar to google docs. Great thing is that you dont have to install software, and it's simply web based. Microsoft office + onedrive works fairly well and it integrates ok, but I find that the google docs approach is simpler and works better for me.

You should try it, no learning curve, especially easy if you already have a gmail account. https://docs.google.com (external link)

for video, I imagine the 70-200 + clear image zoom would have been better. I dont think there's a noise penalty when using clear image zoom, or at least it seems minimal.

Clear image zoom + crop factor should give you like 500mm of reach or something, and @ F2.8. I've used it with my Tamron in lowish light to get me ~170mm? Hard to say if IQ was hit, I'm not super critical on video IQ. I had it in a birthday video, and it was pretty seamless.

The Escort I have had for 22 years..!

My wife is the car fancier in the family - she drives a new BMW 535i with the upgraded engine and all the bells and whistles.

Me? I keep driving my 1999 4Runner 4WD. It just keeps on running and I never have to use chains when I go over Donner Summit in the winter.

But...if you want to talk motorcycles... :-D

I saw this unique spare tire cover yesterday.

I think I'm beginning to like my new Windows 10 Pro computer.

I've even got the start menu looking better. That happened when I got synced to my MS account. :p

The background is one I took in Eastern Arizona a few years ago. The sky is a composite. :-)
