My assumption is soon after its announcement the gh5 used market will be over loaded and i will then struggle to sell it. I cant imagine sony not making the upgrades i want , mainly the joystick , battery , AF and 4k60. The one they might skip on is 4k60 internally. Just becasue of heat issues, im certain they'll do external. And the af.. i wonder , but i cant imagine them not atleast matching the 7r3 if not the a73 im iffy on the AF. If i remember correctly it was the same with the A7R2. People expected the S2 to have the same AF as the R2 and it wasnt. Probably expect the same trend. Of course we can all hope as i love the S series and would probably spring for the S3 if the low light performance improves by 1 stop and the AF improves so we can actually track with it. Realistically though, it might be closer to the R2 performance if they even try and put in PDAF in there. If not then it will be close to how the S2 performs maybe just a bunch more AF CDAF points. 400 CDAF maybe? The A7s3 HAS to have PDAF for stills and video. My current thinking is to swap the Loxia 21mm for the Sigma 20A. Swap the Canon 50L for the Sigma 50A. Then swap the Sony 35 ZA and the Canon 35 IS for the Sigma 35A. I like that the Sigma's can ... go both ways. Ew. Anyway, I saw that a few in this thread had the 20A for at least a time. Just wondering what feedback anyone may have on any of these lenses or my current working theory. Having owned both I can say they are both superb and if you want AF or 1.4 the Sigma is absolutely fantastic. Only complaint is it’s huge, but I loved the images I got from it. David | Flickr

Lots of local history but probably most famous for being the location for filming the video for Bryan Adams' hit Everything I Do........ ![]() *** EDIT - does anyone else find that a 1600 wide image is too big a filesize for here or is it just me....?? I'm sure it all depends on the resolution of the monitor you're viewing the images on. Mine is 2560 x 1440 for example and an image 1600px on the horizontal side fits fine. Vertically, i have to scroll down to see it all. Image hosted by forum (930396) © navydoc [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. You can change the default size of images viewed in posts I believe at the bottom of the page. It will look like this: Hosted photo: posted by navydoc in ./showthread.php?p=18695163&i=i60131350 forum: Sony Digital Cameras Mine is at 1600 x 1600 EMBED PREVENTED ***CUSTOM DOWNLOAD SIZE LIMIT 2.5 MB EXCEEDED: 2.72 MB https://farm2.staticflickr.com …12595724_8a70c7519d_o.jpg ^^ In the auto preview box the image shows. Perhaps it's my poor eyesight or the fact that I don't normally study someone's face with as much scrutiny as I might here but I don't see that much skin texture when I see someone face to face while conversing for example. To my eye, smoother would be more attractive. Just how much smoother probably depends on the person doing the viewing. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

I get this (my end) with the above photo at Flickr 'original' size of 1600 wide. EMBED PREVENTED, HEAVYWEIGHT DOWNLOAD: 2.72 MB ***https://farm2.staticflickr.com …12595724_8a70c7519d_o.jpg ^^ In the auto preview box the image shows. When I submit to post my err.... post the photo doesn't always show..... I get "EMBED PREVENTED CUSTOM DOWNLOAD SIZE LIMIT 2.5 MB EXCEEDED: 2.72 MB" Interesting, I don't recall ever having that problem. When I upload to Flickr, I've already sized my image to be 2048px on the long side but save as a jpg at full quality (12) in PS CC. That puts the file size around 2mb. When I want to share, I click on the curved arrow that opens the dialoge where I select BBCode and choose the Large image size. If I open my "Download this Image" and select the 1600 x 1280 preset, the downloaded image is in about the 756kb range, give or take. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||
