Spent quite a bit of time back home in Portugal this summer and I was hoping to get atleast a few days with interesting cloud formations but it didn't really pan out. One of the few days where their was some interest in the daylight skies.

Sipping the dark juice a bit.
No interest in the camera at all.
I've pre-d the Nikkor 500mm PF, had to have something to put it on.

Let me know what you think. I'm selling some gear and picking up a D500 in the next few days.

that might actually be just right for me...for my job site trips and when I don't want to haul gear around with the family...my Powershot S95 is fine, but low res and its taken a beating lately...

Cool stuff! You’re as bad as me. I’m waiting for Sony’s aps-c announcement and Canon’s mirrorless offering before I make my next purchase.

Gorgeous Jose!

Thanks Robert.

The PF looks like a really interesting lens, are you planning to get rid of your DO?

are you kidding me??? it's the best pro crop body !!! (for me at least :P)

the d500 would have been my preference for crop if I was to get a dslr. ff would be d850.

Sony should really leverage their weight saving and make a PF/DO. The 400 2.8 is amazing, so I know that they are capable. Sadly, the pricing on that lens makes me doubt I would ever consider a Sony super telephoto.
