the 35 f1.8 is only 7mm longer than the FE 50 f1.8, and 300g (little over a hundred grams more).

It's completely reasonable in size.

the 28-70 will be massive, like 1000g territory I bet, however, many folks will be ok with that. It wasnt too long ago that people were shooting with the 24-70 mk1, which is probably enough tougher to use due to the extreme length and backward zoom style.

3 of the 4 announced lenses are enough to flip a bunch of Sony shooters I'm sure.

At minimum, these lenses are so compelling, it will be worth it to try out the system. Personally, I think I'm over it after sleeping over it, it's a great release by Canon, one of the most exciting releases aside from the 5Dii :-P It's very nice, but not for me at this point, and if this drives Sony prices lower, even better, I could really use another gen 3 body ;-)a

At the very least maybe it will push Sony to give us a 35 f2 lol.

I made my bed with sony years ago so G.A.S. might talk but I've been really happy with Sony as a camera company and their camera and lenses do everything I need.

The thing about Sony is that they are hyperattuned to both their competitors and their customers. I suspect that the MKIII bodies still outperform canikons best efforts...but sony doesn't like others casting a shade on their hype train lol and we still see some nice releases from Sony over the next couple of months.

Sorry canon. Your too late.

I've pretty much committed myself 100% to sony. Aside from the 200/2 I got no other need for canon.

In my case I just buy a canon FF mirrorless body and I’m fully equipped with all the lenses to shoot pretty much anything. Sounds like that Canon body will have similar sensor to the 5D Mark four Hopefully.

In the meantime I’ll be picking up a GM 16-35 and small Sony 85 f1.8 and if canon FF mirrorless is a flop a Sony 70-200 f2.8 or A7Rmk4 :) when it comes out.

Definitely not this iteration for me, however I'm excited that Canon can bring the excitement again.

No ill will towards Canon, I do think they will reclaim the top spot again soon enough. Bodies will be behind in many key areas, but should be enough for the Canon crowd that's already use to that sort of thing.

Sony could use some more heat, and this is it.

Decided to go over this one again & have a slight change of the colours. I didn't like the 'green' of the grass in the original so added some warmth to it to match the church & took some blues from the sky. I think it's a more pleasing image now with some consistent slight warmth through out. Plus, it must be better because the other half agrees.......

Nice collection! I haven't flown my Mavic 2 yet. Slowly coming up to speed on how it operates. Watched lots of YouTube videos for beginners.

^i think you forgot your camera body. lol

My Mavic Pro 2 has been sitting here in my office unopen for 3 days now. I'm busy for the whole weekend for my son's 17th birthday. Filipino parties are like one week preparation. lol

I also changed my iphone 7 to iphone 8 plus to have a bigger screen for my drone.

But you need to practice drone skills to take some drone footage for the party :)
