Not a sony file...but shot on my galaxy s9 and edited in LR mobile.

Pretty amazing how good these smartphone cams are getting.

I agree. I just got an iPhone Xs and it's really good. I haven't tried using LR CC to get a RAW capture with it yet. Never helped all that much with my previous 7 Plus.

So I took my R3 with 2 Canon lenses to a wedding Saturday. I brought the 24-70 and the 50L. Everything was great until things got dark - the 50L started to hunt. I think that is just because it was not a native lens. I should have just brought my FE 50. Anyway, got some shots I was really happy with.

The wedding was held at Webb Cathedral in Detroit. It was abandoned somewhere around 1989. Some guy bought it in 2007 for $6700 at a tax auction. He has spent about 250k putting a new roof on it and doing asbestos remediation and now he's trying to sell it for 299,000. VERY cool place to have a wedding. He also has art galleries there. I could have spent another hour walking round this place taking pictures. They also had a string quartet. I heard Sweet Child O Mine. The guys procession was to the theme from Game of Thrones. The girls was Forrest Gump. Great wedding. I will share more, but I just do 2 at a time because I don't share anywhere else and that's all the forum software allows for right now.

About to purchase the Mavic 2 Pro. Just dawned on me I don’t know what size of micro SD card I need? What are people using?

I scored an a7r III in mint condition for $2200 on FM. I was looking at the a7 III, but I figured I'd go all in since the prices are close on the used market and I prefer the a7r III better LCD and viewfinder. I don't need the resolution for the most part, but I figure it will be nice to have when I want it.

let me get you to thinking hehehhe. If youre not too hung up on the resolution loss AND if you're a sucker for light weight travel options for lenses. Look into using APSC lenses on your bad boy :-) :p

My C/Y adapter arrived (Fotodiox Pro). Seems pretty well made, no play on either side of the mount. Now I just need to figure out how I want to configure the camera for shooting with MF glass.

A couple from the morning. First two with the 28/2.8 Distagon, the last with the 50/1.7 Planar

nice images with the CY glass. Most folks map a custom button to focus magnify. That way you can click it and zoom into the subject and manually focus before snapping the shot. Much more accurate than focus peaking if shooting at wide apertures
