Thanks Robert. I'm seriously thinking about getting some kind of photo backdrop of a forest I can put up behind my bushes to give me a better background than cinder block.

Maybe something like this. ;-)a

How cool is that!
Never knew something like that was out there.

which adapter do you have? can you provide a link please?

Baan I was mistaken.
I use the Sigma MC-11 when adapting the 400DOii to the a9.
My bad, and apologies.

I use the Commlite when adapting the Nikkor lenses to the a9.

The Commlite is good, the MC-11 is supreme.

I've got a Metabones, somewhere gathering dust.

Some test shots with my new cam. You know you're in Florida when you can take full frame shots of wildlife with an 85mm lens with minimal cropping...

I’m planning to buy an A6500 as my second camera. What’s the other advantage of it compared to the A6000 aside from the IBIS? Does it have a completely different sensor?

My son is also gonna use it for video so the IBIS is a hige advantage.

Wish I had the variety of birds to shoot that you enjoy Robert. Of course, I don't travel quite as much either. :-)

Nice forest background by the way.

Just imagining the flavour from the WOK looking at those noodles mmmmmmm!

They were really good but a bit oily for me :p I have a very low tolerance for oil though as I barely use any with the foods I cook :)

Anyone using the iPhone 6? Do you find the camera flares like crazy? I have an iPhone SE but was given a 6 and thought I was going to change to it but when I hold it up in the house it’s flaring like crazy with the light from the tv and lamps to the point where I don’t want to switch

You are inspiring me to use my C/Y lenses more often.
I like your framing, quite simple and elegant.

Great series Eddie, thanks for sharing them. I see that your daughter has just as big a 'killer' smile as Calum does.
