I did some calculations at home and figured that by cropping + hyperlapse, I can create a zoom effect. But obviously, cropping so close cannot work, if you noticed that the video started off as a normalish view.

so I did a hyperlapse with two cameras side by side, and did the zoom in post to line up to the best of my ability to the next video.

sounds more complicated than it is, but the second camera with the telephoto helps a ton. I use it to align my shots, which take a ton of post processing, but alignment keeps the work to a minimum.

here's the proper video with the resolution fixed, but vimeo still doesnt look as good as on PC.

Anyone on the board interested on the new Apple product updates announced today? The new Mac Mini might be in my future to replace an old MacPro 2008 that I have been using for ever. Fully spece'd out it should make a great Mac for photo editing.

I thought the MBA was discontinued with the MBP 12"?

seems a bit confusing now. I'm sad that my MBP doesnt have the touchbar and touchid, so annoying putting in passwords. That new MBA looks nice, but not a fan of the ports, dont like the idea of a million dongles.

I'm a mac guy and I am looking at the Mac Mini with some interest. I kind of like the "all in one" of the iMac for my purposes, but it's nice to have options.

Got back from spending a week in Colorado, and I was lucky enough to catch the son of a good friend playing JV high school hockey.

First time shooting hockey, and it is a challenge with primes, but thank goodness for 42MP.

I'm a mac guy and I am looking at the Mac Mini with some interest. I kind of like the "all in one" of the iMac for my purposes, but it's nice to have options.

I really like the mini form factor, the size is perfect but the last several versions have been severlly underpowered with limited upgradeability, this newer model I think will fit the bill for me. I currently have 3 SSDs and a very large 7200RPM HD in my Mac Pro, I would need to figure out external harddrive storage if I replace my Mac Pro.
