one of these days I'm going to have to visit FL. how's the food at the ball room?

Typical Disney food. It's pretty good, but not great :-) It all starts tasting the same after a while no matter how much they theme it up for different areas lol.

I've yet to do anything with the fall colors.....and they're almost gone :(

Yeah, I feel the same way, I usually do a big waterfall shoot every year in the fall, there is a huge amont of local water falls here in the area and I usually try to get out during this time but it seems time just slipped away this year:-(

OMG that is so cute.

I have been messing with my new 24-240 here and there. This one is pretty solid for handheld I think!

Worse for me, I just wasn't motivated. Seem in my areas the colors were just dull and muted.

New problem with my R3 - I am all focused and push down the shutter button and nothing happens. The green focus lights are still dancing around, but the image on the screen stops changing. At some completely random amount of time later, I hear a click and it takes a picture wherever it is pointing at that time. It's happened 3 times in the last week I think. Trying to find the rhyme or reason to it. I for sure noticed it with the MC-11 and a Canon lens at least once or twice. But I don't remember if it happened with a Sony lens or not.

your timer delay isn’t on by mistake is it? I’ve had that before when I accidentally left the 5 sec timer on

make sure u dont go over 400 and post it,,,,,i leanred the hard way,,,,,,i found out inthe settings u can change the height to max altitude of 1500ft so i totally assumed if its in the app it must me ok,,,,,so up i went to 1500ft snapping pics happy as a clam,,,,then got scolded pretty harsh by a lot of people for reckless flying,,,,,,now i know,,,,,keep some images to myself,,,,,haha

The drone won’t let me go above 400. I’ve not seen an option to override but won’t anyway if I do

Unless you're shooting buildings higher than 40 stories, I'd think 400' would be more than high enough.

Don't forget to try shooting panoramas as well as timelapses as you become more confident in the drones stability.

Hyper lapses are the next thing I’m going to try. I hadn’t even considered panos but that should actually be quite straightforward by just rotating the drone on the same spot. I’ll give that a go too

if u do decide to change it from 120m which is default u can change it to 500m {1500ft} simply push the 3 buttons on the right and its located here.

I've been real close to buying one for months, but finally the cv21 is available and I got it instead, focal length more to my liking.

If only SY made it 21mm instead, I would have bought it.

MedicineMan4040 wrote in post #18744000 (external link)
Yep.

I'm thinking of it for something small and light mainly for landscape. I don't do ultra wide.

I was using the CV40 and ML28/2.8 on Saturday and I was finding the 28mm just a little too close to the 40mm.

I have been making my way through the CV21 Skopar thread on FM though...... But if I'm picking up the CV40/1.2 that's £1500 on two manual Voigtlanders......

dji go 4 app is pretty lacking for panos but it is fully auomated, u point th drone in the middle of what u want to pano and it will do a 180 degree pano, 90 each way from the center taking 18 shots i believe,u ,merge them in light room yourself,if u want the best possibe panos i sujest using the app called litchi, the pano feature in there is 10 fold better than dji app, u can adjust the degree, 90-135-180 etc and anywhere inbetweem and u adjust how many rows and how many pics per row, and most imprtanlty u can bracket each shot, so if i shot a pano 135 degrees with 2 rows of 5 images and used 3 shot 1ev bracketing i would have 30 images to merge,i merge the brackets first then merge the 10 high res files to my final pano,u cant do any of that in dji app, litchi is far better in that regard, its all i use on my mavic 1. i think they offer a demo trial on there app as well, its worth the time to try it out.

I believe the drone has a feature to create panos automatically. I know my Phantom 4 did. I used software called PTGui (external link) to stitch the images into 360 views.

Here's one of my first test panos I did right above my place. There are some alignment issues with it. I don't have the 360 viewer on my website anymore but I could also create a 360 video from this image and share it on Facebook.
