My back yard resident. He won't let you get too close, so he is an ideal subject for the 100-400.

Well I'm know wondering if I need the Voigtlander 40/1.2
One beauty of the a7Riii is a push of the button and the 24/1.4 is a 36mm which is mighty close to 40.
Mulling it over....

Air cooled Flat 6 in the back of a 911, which usually has Weber crabs, but I am not an expert on the differences. For me its the air cooled flat 6 that is the enticing part...

Thanks. Yah I'll put it to the test side by side with 85GM but for the focal length, the 135L is used to be my favorite with the canonworld.

I have come to like the working distance of the 85, stopping down a bit it still does a good job of blurring out backgrounds, and the GM is much sharper than the 135L I have...and its plenty good, better on the a7R2 actually than the a9.

i'm used to shoot with the 70-200L at 200mm for portrait and the 135mm so it's not new to me. I should be able to work it out as far as working distance goes. I also usually shoot outdoor. I might sell the 85GM. i know that sounds crazy but i need to use it to pay for the Siggy if I like it. Also having only one portrait lens, i like the extra reach of the 135. of course if money is not an issue, i will never sell my 85GM.
