The long awaited kit completion for me, 2 lenses that can get me good landscapes and snapshots. I found an odd pair, but perfect bags, fits only what's needed, and not one bit more.

My camera kit is complete :p

Camera + 21 + 35 primes.

Takes up hardly any space, gives me decent focal length possibilities. Would love a third 100mm f4 even would be fine, but needs the impossible task of fitting into one of those bags (not likely to happen).

Sometimes even if i have several Lens, i’ll bring only what i like to force myself to use that partixular lens.

Like last sunday, i had a shoot. I have a 35, 50 and an 85 but i only brought the 85.
10/10. Very nice.

that would stress me out...I don't mind forcing myself to use one lens for my own personal work...but for a paid gig...I want all my tools with me, I would hate to be on a job and not have what I need...

Usually when i do portrait, i pretty much know the location already. I know ahead what lens to use. for weddings, i'll bring whatever lens i have.

I have a Metabones Nikon F to Sony E adapter inbound - so stoked to see that some of the classic Zeiss lenses are much more reasonably priced in the ZF/ZE mount compared to the C/Y counterparts, the 21/2.8 and 35/1.4 Distagons, in particular. Decided on ZF because I like the idea of having manual control of the aperture and a much cheaper adapter, even if that means giving up some EXIF data (and the focusing barrel turning the opposite direction).

Now the problem is deciding which to get first, because I can only swing one of them for now. 28mm is my current widest (C/Y Distagon 28/2.8) and I do have 35mm covered by the sharp C/Y 35-70/3.4... the problem is that it's 2.5 stops slower than the 35/1.4 and I've been jonesing for a fast 35mm since selling my 35L long ago. I keep flip-flopping and can certainly see the rationale behind either choice. Maybe I'll let the market decide and wait it out 'til at least Black Friday and see if a good deal sways me one way or another.

And since I don't want to post without some kind of pics, here's another wet leaf. :p

I guess that I lied when I said "no more leaf pics" (external link) by Heightsfidelity (external link), on Flickr

The long end on the C/Y 80-200/4 seems to be the weakest, but even backing down a little to 180mm sharpens things up and gives me results that I can live with (for now ;-)a).

Very nice car. Great processing on the image as well. I love the mood set by the haze.

Typical Disney food. It's pretty good, but not great :-) It all starts tasting the same after a while no matter how much they theme it up for different areas lol.

hahah yeah, at first our thoughts are 'wth is up with these ridiculously high price on mediocre food.' after bringing your own food we find it not worth hauling extra baggage and end up just opting for the high cost food and eventually get used to the disney taste bud and start to like the food. still overprice but its part of the park enjoyment.
