The air in Chico is not safe at all. Healthy air is 0-50. Normal hazard charts only go up to between 150-300 as unhealthy and dangerous to breathe. In Chico right now, it is 831!! We need to leave for awhile.

:-( Take care of yourself.

I got about halfway around the block with the new Distagon 21 before my hands got too cold - I need some warmer thin gloves.

Man that looks lots better!
I bet your nerves were on an edge.

We're not immune to forest fires up at the cabin.
Several years ago one got close-within a mile.
I was nervous as heck, but that is what State Farm is for.

More effort with the 24GM.
I can already tell this one's a keeper.
Wide-field astro...1.4 is a dream, and the fly-wire focus is way way improved for manually dialing in, though
I've read that at 1.4 AF is indeed possible using the zoom in 10x and then AF.
Weight wise even if I have to walk a bit I can carry this one and the Laowa 15/2.
Landscaping looks fine to me-

Anyone here using a 27" imac 5k for editing (2017 model)? I am close to building an editing PC based on the i7-8700k CPU but keep getting drawn back to the imac. I know I can build a hackintosh but after researching it I cant be bothered with the hassle of making everything work properly. Curious to hear peoples thoughts on the imac

Nice shot Robert.

Looks like your fall colours are very similar to ours this year, the Maples never really got that great bright fall colour, it was muted a bit this year, we didn't get very many low night temperature drops and I think that plays a role in the degree of colour.

I don't but I'm in the market to upgrade my existing MacPro tower. I thought about going with the iMAC but I think I may end up with a fully spec'd Mac Mini instead, I just love the form factor of those things and the latest update has made it a contender for me. I thought about the hackintosh route as well, I've built more than my share of workstations in the past but at stage in my life I couldn't be bothered, I just want something that works straight out of the box.

That’s where I am too (want something to work out the box or straight after I build it). The Mac mini is interesting. I’ve only looked at it since today so not fully up to speed with it. A fully specked one seems on par (ish) with the iMac minus the screen but I’m not 100% sure on the whole thing. Is the gpu poor? Will heat be an issue in the small case etc. I need to look into that more

Like I just mention to DT, only reason I went out looking was the new lens. Very muted but strangely here in the southern Apps we have many many trees
still green! Not as many still fully leafed out and at the same time many completely bare.
But you're right, so muted I just didn't get the urge :(
And this morning 28F...I've already started prepping the houses for whats coming. Got the camper winter ready for the trip too. All sounds good eh but cutting into
my therapy/photography time ;)

the only good thing i did out of the situation. It might be a bit insensitive for the victims but the owner called me to shoot so it's not my fault.

is that a sky swap?
