That's good to hear. I'm sure I'll crash mine eventually too. I have a road trip with family up to Ruidoso, New Mexico next week for Thanksgiving. I'm debating bringing it. We will be close to White Sands.

I've been in a photography slump that past few months. I haven't had much opportunity to shoot so I'm looking forward to the trip which will hopefully get me out of this slump. Photography business has been so slow too so that hasn't helped. :-(

Hopefully you find your way back into it Alfredo. The drone is fun and I find it opens up new avenues of ideas for the photography. I was also messing around with the hyperlapse function today for the first time too. That looks like it could be a lot of fun

Thanks Eddie. Yeah I want to try the hyperlapse feature too and generally would like to fly my drone more.

Agree with you Charlie. Believe me, I want to fly more.

---------------

Last week I continued my work to photograph the state of the SATX Missions. This time up was Mission San Jose. What my client didn't tell me before hand was that I had to climb up that ladder to get to the roof. Then the workers I was with pulled up the ladder and I had to climb up to reach the second level roof. I'm not fond of heights so needless to say, that was not fun. I got through it though. Oh, I had to climb up with all my gear on my back. Luckily, my Mindshift Backlight backpack has a handy way to secure my tripod.

Too bad you couldn't use your drone as an aerial tripod while you remained safely on Terra Firma. :-)

:-D. The thought did cross my mind Gene. Maybe for next year when I repeat the process.

update with our county's situation,

117,000 acres
30% contained
42 fatalities to date

this is really bad.
