That's awesome Vinz. I'm glad you and your family are ok. My cousin and her family were evac'd from their Chico home on Thursday. They came down here to Stockton for the night. Friday morning, we went out and bought a bunch of supplies like N95 masks, drinking water and blankets and they went back for the day to distribute supplies and assist in any way they can. So sad to see the death toll rise. Most especially the guy's video of the burned cars with bodies in them.

yah a small part of Chico got evacuated thursday but got lifted the next morning at 11am. now we're good. yah it's really bad. 48death now. only 2 of my many friend's houses up in Paradise luckily survived. the rest got homeless in a matter of 12 hours

Sorry for posting non Sony but some of you might like to see this. This quality surprises me. This was shot in jpeg only on a rather boring overcast day. The orangy color was caused by the camp fire.

Shot with GoPro Hero 7 Black

I caught this guy at the San Luis NWR elk reserve. Not quite big enough to take on an elk, so rodents were the meal of the day.

Sadly they don't say how long the roadmap it is but do say it will be out in 2019.

Hopefully but I’ll believe it when I see it. His source didn’t say 2019 so not sure where he got the date from but here’s hoping as many people waiting on it. (I’m happy with my rx1 now)

I'd hate to guess the number of people wanting after a 35mm version of the FE85/1.8....... I bet it's an awful lot & would sell in vast numbers!!

I think I'm still going to give the CV40/1.2 a go though. Estimated stock seems to be the 28th here....

I think the sooner the better they release it with both Nikon and Canon having new 35mm lenses for their new bodies. It's very wishful thinking but I do hope it's announced early next year.

It definitely will sell like crazy which is why I'm surprised it has taken them this long to make one.

Is that a manual focus lens?

Found out a rather annoying thing about Lightroom today. I eventually subscribed to adobe CC so installed lightroom on my work laptop. I then tried to create a catalogue but got the error message saying you cant create catalogues on network drives or removable storage. My works laptop is setup so that the documents folder (Win 10) syncs when im on the work network but saves to the local drive when im not but its recognised as a network drive. I was planning on creating a new catalogue for each of my projects at work to store and manage the photos. This is completely separate from my singular catalogue at home that has all my photography in it. Now the only option I seem to have is to store the catalogues on the c: as opposed to within the actual job folders. Frustrating!!!

I know you can’t use a network drive (LR isn’t multi user capable, so it supposedly prevents catalog corruption from multiple users accessing the same catalog at once), but some have had success using Dropbox or a similar cloud drive to sync the catalog across machines.

You should still be able to put it on an external drive... https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2394856 (external link)
