another 35mm in the roadmap? how many 35mm are they planning to make? lol

Well the 35mm f/2.8 is a bit slow compared to the f/1.8 or F/2 equivalents from other brands and the current 35mm f/1.4 seems to be plagued by QC issues.

Considering how good of a job Sony has done with the 24mm GM, I think they can make an excellent 35mm lens without it being Zeiss.

I know you can’t use a network drive (LR isn’t multi user capable, so it supposedly prevents catalog corruption from multiple users accessing the same catalog at once), but some have had success using Dropbox or a similar cloud drive to sync the catalog across machines.

You should still be able to put it on an external drive... https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2394856 (external link)

Thanks. I don’t even want to sync it across machines, all I want to do is create a catalogue on my work laptop but since it’s configured to look like a network drive it won’t let me. I’m the only person that can access the drive. I think the only option is to keep a separate folder on the c: as opposed to where I actually want to save it (my documents folder is also on my c: but recognised as a network drive)

Oh, okay. I misread your previous post and thought you were trying to get it set up on a network drive purposely, which I assumed meant you wanted to access it across different machines. Oops!

Good start. It'll take some practice to eliminate the verticle bouncing while walking and it helps to hold the selfie stick horizontally instead of vertically as much as possible. That way, your wrist acts as a shock absorber too.

Have you considered the GoPro Karma Grip too?

i know we need to do the ninja walk slightly bended knees but i just tried to walk normally to test the hypersmooth.

looks like this cheaper alternative got good reviews.

Has anyone edited on a curved screen before? Does it throw the horizontals and verticals off?

I got one also ..

I think its pretty good for what it cost , 4k60 and very smooth hand held video.
IQ is not bad in low light either .. at least not for the type of video you'd be shooting with this for the most part I assume (personal/family)

A couple of shots from my new Sony A7II (caught the $999 deal with the 28-70 lens). Both shots were done with the Metabones IV adapter, and the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro.

A couple of shots from this beautiful afternoon in Corpus Christi, Texas.

First shot overlooks flags out out in remembrance of our veterans. Photo taken at Cole Park.

Second shot showing our beautiful vistas that dot the route the path along Ocean Drive.

Both shots were done in jpeg, with editing done with Snapseed (wanted to try out the wifi function on the camera).

Does anyone here use iPad Pro (or any iPad) for photo editing? My main rig is the 27" iMac at home, but I've been wanting to do remote (mobile) editing for some time now. The first obvious option for me has been the new Macbook Pro 13 with full specs, but I've been eyeing the new iPad Pro since its launch. With LR CC, I think I should be able to edit the photos (with same catalog) at home and away? I'm still reading reviews and experiences online but there just aren't too many yet. As powerful as the new iPad Pro can be, all I'm reading is that the software is still super shy when compared to the blazing fast hardware.

So I was hoping to hear if anyone has experience using LR via iPad. I'm mainly interested in the workflow, syncing options, cloud usage (Apple cloud or Adobe cloud?), and etc... Thanks in advance guys!

I got my Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 today and I'm liking it so far! This is actually my first Tamron lens too.

The AF is real fast and accurate and IQ is looking real good wide open on both ends. Can't wait to use it some more.
