Vinz that camp fire is really terrible. Really glad you made it through that OK and good on you for doing what you can to contribute to those who weren't as fortunate.

really bad. 76 is the count for the casualties now and a thousand plus still missing. Yah Chico is like 16 miles away from Paradise. The place that suffered most of the damage and casualties. Many Filipino friends there lost their home.

Pres. Trump was here today proceeded to Paradise to see the ground.

i got some shots from his convoy.

I use it, and more like 10x the size of the 2.8 ;-)a

I do enjoy the IQ, no issues about that, but the size is ridiculous. I'll be loaning it out to a family member for a few months, he's anxious to get a "bokeh" lens, so the 85 will also go. 28-75 may go as well, but no longer than a month, I dont want that to be away too long ;-)a

Last day with the rented 100-400gm today. I took it to the NZ Warbirds show at Ardmore Airport in Auckland. The noise of the Spitfire was awesome.

I took over 2000 photo's. 10fps on the A7iii really eats them up :P Many are in the recycle bin and here are a few in an album I put on Flickr.

A shot of the beautiful ceiling inside Mission San Jose. The second shot is looking up at some sketchy steps that I climbed to reach the roof. It looks like the steps were carved out of a huge log. All shot with the FE 16-35GM.

Vinz, that is just tragic. Erin Babnik also lost her home in Paradise. She just moved in for only a week. If you don't know Erin, she is a super talented landscape photographer.

Stay safe out there.

I nominate the CV 35 F1.7 with correction for sensor stack and AF motor. The lens comes in at 220g with a metal body........ Using a plastic body, AF would add minimal weight, but day it gets 50% wide, is should still be in the 62mm filter range. Coming in less than 300g with AF, it would still like crazy.

I think voigtlander should make AF lenses in general, they make so many great lenses.
