I was going to ask you if this is with the forest backdrop you mentioned you were getting lol

It's still in my 'Saved for Later' bin to easily put into the ol' shopping cart. Someday, I'll pull the trigger on it just for the heck of it.

Well after a couple of years with my A7R2 I finally put it up for sale and it will be going to someone else at the end of today. The A7R2 has been a pretty good camera for me especially given the type of shooting that I do but since I've purchased it I've added a number of Sony AF lenses and given the current price discounts on the A7R3 I think it's time to move to a new body. Honestly I have been waiting to see what Sony does with the A9, I would love to see a high rez version of that camera but in the end I think I will be well served with the A7R3.

A9r would be awesome, but my wallet cant handle anymore beatings this holiday season

Seeing that typewriter reminds me of the vintage remington portable typewriter of my great aunts I enherited. Wish I still had it. It was similar to this one except the lid was angled over the keyboard portion.

Siggy135(left) vs 85gm(right) both wide open

I really like the background compression of the longer FL. the Siggy looks sharper wide open too. Maybe because it's F1.8 vs a 1.4

She looks sad. The house she grew up with was one of the house that got burnt by the Camp Fire. She requested this photoshoot because it's her birthday. I thought she's ok already but you can see the sadness in her eyes.
