Off topic

Anyone try something like this? I once had the small foot monopod but I didnt like it. This would be cool just for the size.

A Cyber Monday pick-up, because who doesn't need more storage when it's this cheap? $20 at Bestbuy (Amazon has a similar deal). I'm still amazed at the size-to-storage ratio -

I chose to avoid the super compact tripods altogether for this reason. I've been using a Feisol CT 3442 for a few years and really like it. No center column, good tripod height, light weight and stable. I really like it as a platform for my mirrorless gear. It also works well with my D500 and 200-500 with a gimbal, so it can handle anything mirrorless you can throw at it. Tripods are tricky and I think that's why a lot of people have so many. I can't afford that, so I found the best compromise for all around use (for me).

I have Feisol 3442 as well. It is good and it works well with Sirui K-30x ballhead. I did a test of my two tripods and technique here:
http://jtra.cz …technique-test/index.html (external link)
Outcome was that technique is most important.

But I have noticed that the tripod did not test great here:

Yeah some really great deals on storage these couple of days. I picked up a Sandisk 128gb Extreme Pro SDXC UH-1 card for my Sony A7R3 on Froday only to realize it's not compatible with slot 2 on th R3, the A7R3 will not recognize it, wish I had done a quick Google search before I ordered it, it's a known problem with some of those cards. It's going back.

Remember how big cards used to be for such little storage?!?!?

No shooting been going on here this past week :( No time/weather coming together.

But..... The CV40/1.2E has been ordered & paid for & yesterday I spotted the Lowepro Flipside 400AW for £40 in black!! The Camo version was still £155!! Had an email saying it's been shipped too - I was half expecting it to be a mistake & the order cancelled.

I've got the Flipside 300 which fits my camera gear fine but doesn't fit all the extras such as food/gloves/coffee flask/etc I'm hoping the 400 will fit that task for shorter hikes as I have a proper backpack for all day stuff.

Guys, any ideas where to stay around Disney World? I'm planning a trip to take our 5 and a half year old. I figure it's a good age to take him. Also, how many days would you recommend? Thanks.

That's pretty much what I done.

But then I made up some rational thinking for buying it

I’m looking for my son’s pc replacement. Beware of bestbuy’s ibuypower pc. My son’s ssd drive died in a month. Returned.

Yup. My friend and I were just reminiscing about how it blew our minds when the Iomega Zip Drives came out. :-P

For multithreaded workloads, AMD is the better performance per dollar. Sweetening the deal is the fact that the AM4 socket will be relevant for a couple more processor generations - that means updating the BIOS and dropping in a new processor.
