it will be hot like Texas in March!

That’s sadly true, unless you’re talking early March. Are you going during spring break?

VII. I still have VI, but haven't touched it in a couple of years. Even VII is pretty hefty to handhold for a while

The combo works well, but with the TC and the adapter, it is a bit unwieldy for me as I do most of my shooting from the car. Outside on a tripod though, the results are pretty good.

Do you use the mc-11 or metabones?

Yep, considering Spring Break since my son is in school now. It's that or Thanksgiving break next year. I won't go during summer.

I have both, but since the firmware update, the MC-11 is my adapter of choice for big whites, and the one used in that photo.

I dont bring nearly the amount of gear I have, it's just that it's segmented just like the 300, and I dont really mix camera gear with food or cloths. I guess they might fit with the back pocket, but I have the really old version and it cant fit too much there. Otherwise, it's a nice bag when I have a ton of accessories.

Weather should still be ok then (by Florida standards). Expect large crowds though since virtually everyone brings their families during school holidays or the summer.

Texas and Florida are still nice in March. We went to Disney during spring break and last year the weather was really nice.

If San Antonio is anything like Houston, Spring break is a couple of weeks earlier than the rest of the country...first week of march for us last year. Crowds were not as bad.

We went in June once and it was miserable. Super hot and crowded. Never again.

Last week, it was stated as expecting stock on the 28th........ Tomorrow!!

But..... The importer was already over pre-ordered (public & dealers) so I found a place (up by Eddie!!) that would have one available for me. It will be imported to the south coast, be sent to Scotland, and then be posted back down to the south west again..... Unless Ffordes get it sent direct from the importer to me...?!? I don't know. But I'm hoping by the weekend would be nice!

Apparently, the UK importer are only receiving 25 lenses........
