SpiderMonkey Senior Member More info | Dec 15, 2018 20:44 | #23072 digital_AM wrote in post #18771569 Thanks for the suggestion! Appreciate it. Your original post with the question brought a smile to my face because it made me think of my first real camera, it was a Pentax K-1000, My dad bought it in the early mid seventies and when he first got it, he showed me how to use it. It didn't take long and I was using it more than he was. Almost 45 years later and I still have that same camera and still use it to this day. The more I used that camera the more I wanted to use it. Today, I shoot for fun and hobby because it is fun and it's my escape. I wouldn't want to do this for a living because then it'll take the fun out of it.

PhotosByDlee Cream of the Crop More info | How do you find the distortion on the wide end? Once I can get the funds I plan to sell my Canon 16-35mm and get this 12-24mm! The weight, price and focal range seem just right and I often find 16mm not wide enough rather than too wide. LeeRatters Cream of the Crop More info | Dec 16, 2018 05:50 | #23080 Vinz, I like the white strike through going from thin to thick. I think the 'V' looks a little "off" - I'm not sure how....? Maybe it looks more like a tick than a V.... I'm not sure.

LeeRatters Cream of the Crop More info | Dec 16, 2018 05:54 | #23081 Vinz.... How about with the 'M' upright (but wider at the bottom). And the 'V' tucked in to the left of the 'M' so that the far left of the V runs parallel to the far right of the M so the shape is a parallelogram??

Eddie xpfloyd lookalike More info | Dec 16, 2018 07:26 | #23083 Same for me Vinz, I like the simplicity of the top left but would prefer the V and M not to be slanted/skewed. The V looks a tad odd to me with the legs being different thicknesses Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

I’ve seen so many stunning images from you with the 16-35mm GM and it tells me a lot about how good the lens is in that you’re willing to rely it for so much of your excellent work. Right now that lens in my leading candidate for what I want to add in 2019. Thanks so much David! It is a great lens. I’m using it more and more lately. My poor Loxia 21 is feeling neglected. I think you will be quite happy with the lens. The only nit I have is some ghosting with direct light but not bad. - Alfredo -
