Vinz, for some reason, your logo looks a bit industrial to me. Maybe because of the boldness in color and shape and the block outline.

Here are a few VM logos for inspiration/comparison.

Well managed a couple of hours out this morning. Light was crap. It wasn't too cold though & I remembered my coffee flask :)

CV40/1.2E seems to be okay. While focusing the focus really seems to pop into focus (if that makes sense?!?) while in magnification. On that subject, I don't suppose there's a way to turn the stupid 'distance scale' off is there? Seems reasonably sharp (which is good as there aren't any left in stock in the country for an exchange!) & the images are much cleaner than the 40/1.4 - much less big aperture glow & certainly no smeary corners.

I have a few shots including an f/2 pano but my best two shots were with the FE85 :mrgreen:

I just need more time with it in the situations I normally shoot 40mm in I think.

My 2 bobs worth
I like the design concept
Preference top left. Agree on shape of V.
What would half of the M inverted look like ?
Think the slant is good. Bit of flair to it.
Mixes well with curve through the letters
Upright could look a bit stuffy, but open to be corrected.

Hadn't seen others.
Bottom black, grey stands out IMO
Still like others, but latter is preference

Sorry Vinz, it reminds me too much of Waste Managements logo...they are a commercial garbage collection company...

I'm with Travis. Recommend going through a graphic designer. Lot less headaches. ;-)a

I'm a former graphic designer.

I remembered when we had to design a logo, we present more than 20 logos and there's 3 of us designing. it was more than 10years ago. now my brain isn't cutting anymore. lol

My (almost) 11 year old boy. He shaved 6 seconds off his 50 yard butterfly today. That's a lot!

Nothing like trying to shoot action sports at 1.4 under the abysmal light in an aquatic center. Keeper rate wasn't that good given the very shallow Dof and trying to track this guy as he swims right at me. You kinda have to lead the swimmer and guess where he's gonna pop up! Fun trying!

f/1.4, 1/1250, ISO1600 seemed to be the best I could do under these lighting conditions. All shots cropped somewhat but not too crazy.

I've seen your son since the 60D thread. Look how he's grown up and competing now.

I like the combined VM on this. I’m not sure about the “VM Photography” below it. I know very little about branding though so take that as you please.

I wondered if you could have the combined VM logo then below it have Vincent on the first line, Munoz on the second line and photography on the third line and have them all the same overall width (same width as the VM). That might end up a bit cluttered though but it’s just something that popped into my head. The 3 words would have different heights to allow the width to match

thanks. maybe Vincent Munoz in one line and a small but spread "photography" word.

thanks.
