I've had this Conch shell for many years. Unfortunately, the 'wing' that leads to the inside is broken.

Don't know much about video but have done some reading. I've experimented a bit and have settled on 24 FPS for the reasons that Carlo mentions....kinda that cinematic look.

I need to do something video wise.
My Adobe subscription includes After Effects/etc. but I can seem to push the video button.

Here is the venue, Bosque del Apache, way early in the morning.
Cool thing about the campervan we 'camped' less than 2 miles from the entrance....so
getting up and there on site 1 hour before sunrise was easy/quick. Need to get there to get
a spot=many photographers lined up for the blast-off (I've got an image somewhere :)

Please remember I'm not a bierder but a wanna-be photographer. But if you are a bierder Bosque should
be top of the bucket.

Thanks...and my sig's there. Look in the curved part at the lower center of the shell, between the two projections that look like legs.:-)

Wow, shot with your 24mm lens. They let you get right up to them.

Question for Charlie (or anyone else that can help) - since you shoot a lot of family footage can you advise what FPS I should use. I have 4K @ 24, 30 or 60. I understand that 24 is cinematic and 60 is super smooth but confused as to what one I should use? Do I just use 60 as it’s the best quality? Video is confusing!

Either 1080 120 or 60 because I have to have slow motion. Sometimes I'll leave it on 1080 60 because I can get the footage straight to iPhone and edit quickly for social media, 120 won't export.

It's simple to get a high fps footage to slower frame rate, tougher to fake slow motion.

Very nice, particularly like the use of the DOF

Thanks. I couldn't get the orange against a darker background without horrible framing!
