iPhone8Plus. smartphones are real threat to RE Photography. Especially if the realtors will learn about the Moment Lens. It has a field of view of 18mm without the fisheye effects.

it still needs some understanding to shoot it right...on my phone it was hard to tell what was used, but on a desktop it was obvious that it was a phone, mushy details, lack of sharpness throughout...but yeah, for RE where most people don't care and are looking at listings on a tablet at best...it poses a threat.

The little DJI Osmo is pretty cool...will take some getting used to. Too bad the manual is useless...but I think it will do what I want for in the field video, the face follow feature is exactly what I wanted...will see how it does for family stuff.

OK guys (any gals here), this was a big deal for me.
My first Harris Hawk. I was over the top elated.
On the trip I added Western Red-tail Dark Morph, Ferruginous, juvenil Ferruginous, and possibly (still
being adjudicated at Whatbird.com) a Harlan's Hawk, and I've alread posted up the most sought after
NoH (Northern Harrier). But I didn't expect a Harris !!

Such a beautiful bird. Great light, pose and composition too.

The only Harris Hawk I've gotten was a hunting hawk and I shot him on the glove of his trainer. That's the shot I made a "painting" of.

It's not a Sony image but here's the link if you'd like to see it.

Poof and I checked out the 'painting' of. Wow, so gorgeous Gene. I think the Harris is up there in the 'most gorgeous hawk'
realm....The White Hawk gets my most awesome vote. Sadly only saw one at a distance when in central America.

Poof used the 85/1.8 a lot on the trip. She'll put on a lens and use it for everything. A great way to get to know a lens I suppose.
Here is me at Bosque thanks to Poof.
