killing it these days Alfredo

Thank you Eddie!

Holy crap Alfredo, that is gorgeous. Just seeing this image is a salve to my breaking heart due to the collapsing markets (and my disappearing life-savings). This is the inspiration I need to get out and shoot.

The 16-35mm GM is an awesome lens, as your work powerfully attests, but it just seems that the colors a just a bit richer and more vibrant with Loxia lenses (at least that’s been my experience/observation).

David, I’m sorry to hear about your life savings. I’m pleased that you found some measure of inspiration from my work. That truly means a lot to me since I hold your own work in high regard.

I tend to agree with you on your observation. The color and contrast from the Loxia lenses is superb.

Alfredo you've done a lot of phenomenal work lately.

And shots like this remind of why I'm still holding on to the Loxia even though I don't do much wide angle shooting these days.

Thank you Carlo! I really appreciate it. About a month ago I motivated myself to get up around 5 AM on Friday, Saturday, and sunday to shoot. It has been good for my photography and the balance in my life. Yes hold on to that Loxia 21. It’s a special lens.

Just don't sell now. They'll go up again most likely. In fact, maybe buy right now!

Mine has been great too, caught the kids coming into the Santa presents etc. What’s the 4gb file size issue?

The market will indeed go back up, but we have yet to see the bottom - far too many negative/volatile global factors are weighing it down. As Samuel L Jackson says, “Hold on to your butts!”, because I think 2019 is looking like a rocky year. Sincerely hope I’m wrong! :)

Yeah nowhere near the bottom.

Next year will be a bad year...potentially worse than 2008 since we're fighting correction and inflation simultaneously and can't pull the zero percent interest rate lever again

They are not allowed in National Parks. Strictly forbidden. One of the reasons I have not bothered to get one...a large number of the places I go are national parks/forests or seashores.

The device is limited to a 4GB file. When it his 3.9GB, it stops and starts a new file. I have also read that they stop at 30 minutes. It is really a device designed for short videos, I was just recording my daughter reading a Christmas book and it went past the file size limit.

man I sure hope not...my day job is hit hard when that happens...but we end up lagging behind, while everyone else was starting to suffer, we were still slammed, but by mid 2009 we were tanked...I nearly lost my job along with most every other architect...a crash like that again would also drastically affect my photography plans...

ahh didn’t realise that. I’ve not hit the issue yet but have mainly been shooting short clips
