I just kept exploring the area and knew this had some potential. Just had to wait for the light. Cory, I'm dreaming of moving up to Idaho. Haven't even visited Boise and the region but my wife and I were talking that it would be a great place to raise our son. It would be a huge change for us but something about it is calling me. Boise has been discovered and has really been growing. A lot of people from California have moved out this way. That said, it's still just a "small city". We've got a wonderful quality if life here. It's been fantastic place to raise our family. The kids love it. Many people are very active and outdoor minded. Of course with growth comes a variety of all types. We've been here for a long time. We live close to downtown and foothill trails. Bike commute to work if desired. Short 5 minute drive to the kayak/surf park. We don't really feel the sprawl. And of course within a short drive you can be into the mind blowing landscape of the Idaho backcountry. Let me know if you are ever planning a visit! Cory

Will see if I can find a job that supports remote work so I can work from home. Yes I'll let you know when we visit. Maybe in the Summer since we already have a trip lined up for Spring break. - Alfredo -

I think it’s shipping next month if I recall correctly. The book title is 100 Dives of a Lifetime. Unfortunately it was an older photo taken with my 5D III and a TS-E 24 II in Charleston, SC. Still, pretty exciting getting in a National Geographic publication. ![]() EDIT: Just peeked on Amazon and it’s showing a Feb. 26 release day. I’m thoroughly mystified as to how my photo will fit into that book. Whoah! That's awesome David. Congrats!! - Alfredo -

As soon as I opened one of the packs of Beeman's, a flood of childhood memories came back. ![]() ![]() I done something kinda similar the other day when I ordered wrigleys double mint from amazon. Hadn’t had it since I was younger and was hoping for a bit of nostalgia. It didn’t taste the way I remember it though but it’s now sugar free so that might be the issue. Jan 17, 2019 15:18 | #24659 Charlie wrote in post #18793271 Ultrawides can be sensitive to rotation, just the nature of the filter holder design, it's simply too thick at some angles. If you're not using extra layers, then that's a simple limitation you'll have to deal with. The Bombo holder was designed specifically to avoid this issue, still has issues when you rotate the CV 10, 12, and 12-24 , but those are much wider lenses.
