Ouch 24%, Ireland is 'only' 23% Tax. €4499 for the GFX50r here, plus there is a little incentive to buy right now that I'm ignoring.

In the EU the seller is required to charge the tax rate of the destanation country, no getting round that. Of course if you are registered for TAX with your company you can claim that 23% back...

Awesome clouds Travis. Really like the tones and color too. Yeah I shot in the opposite direction from the sun often.

They were too cool to not shoot them and feature them.

Exquisite! EXPLORED!!

not likely...its not a train, a bus, a squirrel, a bird, a lego or a doll....today the #3 image is an illustration of a paper doll cutout...Flickr has lost its direction...

You just listed the reasons I've not looked at the Explore in well over a year unless it was one of yours or someone else's I know mentioned in the forum.
Shame really.

I'm always late.
Just now seeing the price in the EOS RiP
1299 for FF mirrorless.
I'm done with Canon but this pricing changes many things.

Explore algo has always been broken. I.e. never a chance in hell a portrait hits explore.

I hit it twice, but never with a portrait.

Yes I'm salty lol.

Competition is a good thing. Bring on the compact, budget A5 sony!

If a FE 35 f1.8 doesnt happen by end of year, I'm snagging an eos RP as a second body alongside the rf 35 1.8 on black Friday.

Don’t you already own a dedicated 35mm lens camera in the RX1RII?

Shame really.

It is a shame, only becuase it used to be a place to go to be inspired, to see amazing images...now its junk. If it were not for the easy way to share images I would ditch it...and still might.

I couldn’t be dealing with that. It really bugs me as it is that the rx1rii has a different battery and charger but throw lenses into the mix and it just becomes a pain for me. Had it before with canon/Fuji and canon/Sony combos

I sold the rx1rII last year when I was out of work. I really miss it!

Yeah ideal situation is another rx1rii. I can't swing it right not unfortunately, and have other holes to till in my kit in the short-term that a bigger priority.

Just looking at it like a poorman's rx1rii lol
