If a FE 35 f1.8 doesnt happen by end of year, I'm snagging an eos RP as a second body alongside the rf 35 1.8 on black Friday.

I couldn’t be dealing with that. It really bugs me as it is that the rx1rii has a different battery and charger but throw lenses into the mix and it just becomes a pain for me. Had it before with canon/Fuji and canon/Sony combos

it's conflicting as heck, all over one simple lens that Sony wont give. Gotta say that the RX is in a league of its own in size still, would love a native pancake 35 f2, and I'm trying to do my best to stick with Z battery system, it's just so dang nice. I'm just in heaven with the 21 and 35 combo that's always with me, still annoys the hell out of me that there's no 35 f2. If only voigtlander would start making AF lenses.... I'de throw money at them.

I am tempted to swap out my Loxia 21 for the CV 21. For touch/feel/operation I much prefer the CV lens bodies over the Loxia.

not likely...its not a train, a bus, a squirrel, a bird, a lego or a doll....today the #3 image is an illustration of a paper doll cutout...Flickr has lost its direction...

I have had 68...and for a while it was pretty consistent, not intended but it was just happening, plenty of dialog with others and it was fun...but then SmugMug bought the place and all that basically stopped and the quality of work there has really fallen on its face...the only place to find nice images now is to just look through my contact list and their work...

I've been considering adding a blog to my squarespace site and directing folks to my images there.

I also looked into NPN but it's a monthly subscription.

Instagram recently did a purge of fake accounts which was long overdue. Some folks lost 10K followers. Is anything real anymore on there?

Frustrating times for photographers. I was never big on my 500px account, but that was (and is) my favorite place to view great work. And now that's blowing up. Flickr has always been my favorite platform, but it's waning. I've never warmed up to Instagram since it continues to be mainly a phone app. Personal web sites are nice, but will never see the traffic and exposure as the photo sharing sites.

I just wish SOMEONE would step up and give us an amazing place for presenting our photos.

I have been toying with adding a blog, I am building a new site through WIX...just need time to work on it...

Yeah, I wish that there was a really high quality one...


In other news, picked up a cool Senior Portrait session for sometime in the next couple weeks...he is a Sporting Clay Shooter...we are going to the Outdoor Competition Range he is a member of...that should be hella fun...

Instaspam is full of people who's sole purpose of engaging is to promote themselves. It's gotten bad lately, and I've distanced myself from it these days as none of the interactions are genuine anymore.

Great as a marketing tool though. Worked out nicely for Billy McFarland!

My Windows 10 is all up-to-date, but when I try the "Enhance Details" I get a "Requires Windows 10 October 2018 update or later." Video card too old?

I have the same issue, there is a compatibility somewhere in your system that Windows won't allow you to update...but it won't tell you what it is...

yeah, I had someone comment on an image yesterday, wanting me to go check their feed out...and I usually do because hey, you never know...it was all images that he has reshared from other photogs...I dont' get it...why do that and then ask for feedback...other than to up your hit count on your page...

Weird. When I run Windows Update it says I'm all up to date - nothing to install.

Could it be a video card issue? I believe that feature is gpu driven
