The same doctor will likely also tell you dietary cholesterol will raise your cholesterol and that dietary fat is bad for your heart. A lot of them are so invested in what they learned as students that they refuse to take on new studies and findings

No, my doctor is a big believer believes in dietary fat. You’d probably like him...I get the sense that he thinks keto is a good idea.

That’s odd then that he thinks your diet is not ‘normal’ food but seems to be up to date on the fat front. Selective further learning :)

He tells me eating kale salads is not “normal food”, then, because I don’t eat dairy, confrontationally asks me, “where are you getting your calcium from?” I pull out my phone and google ‘calcium rich foods’ right in front of his face. Among the top foods is.............wait for it...........kale. SMH

David,
Kale, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower are mainstays in my diet.
Avocado too :)
Only thing we feel 'limited' on is fruits. Gone are bananas/oranges/etc. the
high sugar fruits.
But in are blueberries, strawberries,blackberries.
I do miss raisins though.

Anyway a landscape via the 100400GM

I never got it. Pretty sure it never shipped.

I'll call amazon for a refund tomorrow.

There are local sellers selling them on prime now, so no more need to deal with Chinese sellers.

Amazon issued me a refund today...it wasn't a lot of money, but I am glad they did...I don't really enjoy paying for things that never show up.

really nice separation from the background...but that bokeh is about as busy as I have seen on anything other than a Helios type lens.

Sidenote...I am tempted to pick up one of his hats...I have yet to find one I really like that covers my ears and forehead...

Amazon issued me a refund today...it wasn't a lot of money, but I am glad they did...I don't really enjoy paying for things that never show up.

Not to jump into the middle of your conversation but just wanted to say that a year and a half ago, I had ordered some driving lights for my motorcycle that were coming from either Japan or China, I can't remember which, when I placed the order they immediately sent an email to me saying that the expected delivery was a month later, no problem. I waited and waited the month came and went, I sent emails to them and they said it had shipped already, I waited and waited. Finally, two and a half months more (total of three and a half months) I had enough, I tried to contact the seller but no joy so, I contacted Amazon and let them know the situation, Amazon immediately refunded my money. Two or three weeks after the refund, the package arrived. I contacted Amazon and told them that I received the lights, they said don't worry about it, I tried to get them to take my payment for the lights but they said the system will not allow them to do that and that it is covered by Amazon so for me to keep it and not worry about sending it back to the seller. I felt bad about it for quite awhile but I finally resolved to the idea that they had really poor communication which created the situation.
My point is, don't be surprised if your order shows up afterwards even though Amazon has refunded your money. I really like Amazon they are definitely customer oriented.
Again, sorry to jump into the middle of your conversation.
