Yeah, if one has ever seen his review video on the Mavic 2 Pro, where the drone follows him by going under the leaves and branches of a tree, one would probably be sold on it right then if not already. I know I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I thought I'd use it enough to justify having it.

I watched that video prior to purchase and it def helped me along the way
Edit - was that the same video the drone was following the motorbike and almost clipped a lamp post? Might have been a different one, I watched that many
navydoc wrote in post #18815810 Here's a very interesting comparison video between the Sony a6500 and the new a6400. This video was made by "iphonedo", whose DJI review videos I've always enjoyed.
I wish the a6400 had been around when I bought my a6500, I probably would have chosen the a6400 instead.
Great reviewer. a6400 destroyes a6500. Glad I sold the a6500 when I did. And makes me really look forward to the mini9.
Not as dramatic as the weather back east but we did experience a nice pea-sized hail storm earlier this afternoon. Oh, and thanks to this storm, I now know the lightning detector in my new weather station works too.
Looking back at the mountains from the Golden Canyon. A few of us climbed this ridge to get a higher vantage point. The climb up was fine but it was a bit sketchy going back down.
Dlee13 wrote in post #18815714 Damn we could have! I'm at the airport now waiting to board haha. So you live in SF or near? Are you familiar with the Tenderloin district? We walked through there by mistake while getting back to union square and seen some interesting sites haha. Too bad they didn't have any events on while I was here, I'm a big fan of Manny Ortiz!
I'm sure you'll be happy to have her closer to home again! The cakes at Cheesecake Factory are amazing but too much for one person haha. In Australia all the food portions are like half the size of the ones here so I'm not used to eating so much. Tony’s Pizza was the best I ever had too!
That was just a food shot so I wasn't too bothered but I got some really nice street shots I can't wait to edit when I get home!
Thank you I will!
Yes, I live a little over an hour away. The Tenderloin area is definitely interesting. Sad that it has become overrun with homeless. When I was there for the Sony event, I stayed at the Hotel Nikko in the Tenderloin.
I think my sister-in-law is more happy to come back than anything. I didn't think she would last as long as she has (3 years) in NYC because she is a sun worshiper haha. SF has many great dining establishments and yes, the portions are much larger here. Tony's is great. My favorite pizza place in the City is Golden Boy Pizza on Green Street.
Looking forward to seeing your images of The City! Below is a photo of Diana Ortiz as she modeled for us at the event

We had quite a lot of hail/sleet fall Wednesday night up here in NorCal. It made driving conditions a bit slippery. The video below is from my Owl Cam dash camera

BTW, which weather station are you running now?
I got the AcuRite Atlas Weather Station and High Definition Touchscreen Display with the lightning detector module. So far, I'm pleased with it with one exception, the clock in the display is 20 minutes slow in a 24 hour period. I'll try to contact Acurite's Support today and see what they say about it.
Thanks. I had an old cheap LCD model that had a transmitter box you mounted outdoors. I like the full functionality you've described with your. Odd that it doesn't keep time accurately. I'm surprised newer devices aren't connected to the internet or the Atomic clock at least.

I'm also surprised about the time inaccuracy.
Here's the best review I've found on the Atlas weather station.

Yeah, that's a great review. Certainly looks like this cam has been fine tuned a bit over the a6500. If this were 2.5 years ago when I was just getting into the Sony APS-c game I'd go for it over the a6500. That said, none of my lenses now have OSS.
I'm with Robert....I'm looking for the mini A9. Just hope it's not too much bigger than the current APS-c cams. I LOVE the small size of these cams.
